It was very clean and comfortable, in a superb location. I was going to an event at the Science and Industry Museum, which was 50 metres away, so it couldn’t have been more convenient! The shower took a bit of time to warm up, but was worth the wait.
The heating was on all night so the room was a bit warm.
In the morning I felt the staff member on duty was irritated with me - the previous night another very helpful staff member had told me that the pub would call a cab for me in the morning, but when I spoke to the morning shift staff member, he didn’t know any cab numbers and seemed put out. The previous night the other staff member had said he would make a note for whoever was on the morning shift to prepare something vegan for my breakfast, but the morning staff member said there was nothing. He also seemed irritated that I checked with him that the cab was coming - I just wanted to make sure he hadn’t forgotten as I had an early train to catch and couldn’t miss it.
Proximity to Exhibition venue
Nothing
The staff was very nice, and what was also good was that the reception was in the pub, so you could rest assured someone was always going to be there until 11 p.m. I don't know what would happen if your plane was delayed and you arrived later than that.
The location was also very good, with some public transport leaving very nearby (the No. 1 free bus passes by the hotel.) And one of the museums, the Science and Industry Museum, is just a two-minute walk. It is a very interesting one and payment is optional, even though donations are encouraged.
Oh, and of course you can have a meal or some beer at the pub, too. I didn't do that, but it's definitely convenient.
There was a very bright green LED directly over the bed, on the ceiling. Apparently, this is an emergency light and required by law.
Anyway. I now own a sleep mask! Bring one. You'll need it.
Clean room. In a good location near various restaurants and cafes. Staff welcoming and efficient.
A little noisy due to hotel rooms being above the pub. Room was basic, furniture quality was ok.
Paikka oli todella kotoisa, palvelu oli erinomaista ja ystävällistä. Ruuat olivat erinomaisia. Aivan mahtavaa asiakaspalvelua.
Vahva suositus paikasta.

Great food and room, good selection of beer friendly staff .
Music in the pub was to loud, and continued till midnight .
Location snd historical context
I couldn’t open the bedroom window (a twin room so might be a children’s room)
I like that it's in a historical pub and it's in a great location.
Bed was so uncomfortable
Our waiter Tom was excellent. Super friendly and helpful.
Everything was fine.
