I had a really nice stay at this hostel. The owner was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The recommended tours were great as well!
Das Dorm hat zwei Bäder und eine eigene Küche. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber für den Preis in Ordnung.
Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und spricht sogar Deutsch (was für uns ein Vorteil war)
Es gibt gemütliche Hängematten und Sitzbänke im Freien.
Lage ist super, aber das ist es überall, da der Ort nicht groß ist. Es ist ein kleiner Supermarkt direkt gegenüber.
Zentral gelegen, alles gut erreichbar. Lebhafte Umgebung.
Man lebt in der Natur im schön angelegten Garten.
Die Besitzerin Nele ist eine aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Herzlichen Dank!
Wir waren am Wochenende da, da war es recht laut, was uns aber angekündigt wurde. So konnte man sich darauf einstellen.

L'hôte nous a proposé des excursions avec guide qui était vraiment top!
Avant d'arriver, elle nous avait prévenu que le week end il y avait beaucoup de bruit car les bars mettent la musique jusqu'à 2h, et c'est vrai mais ça fait partie de la vie du village! Elle nous a gentillement proposé des boules quies qui on était très utiles !
Arrangeante, elle a accepté de garder nos sacs le temps de repartir !
Elle envoie un message très complet avec des explications sur le lieu.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme, la tranquillité des lieux et la gentillesse de la famille qui tien cet établissement
Un des soirs durant notre séjour, les voisins ont été bruyants avec de la musique forte
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le charme extérieur des Cabinas avec leurs couleurs, la présence des hamacs, l'espace convivial où prendre son café.
L'emplacement est idéal, proche de tout mais pas non plus au niveau de l'embarcadère ce qui donne un caractère plus intimiste. Le lieu est calme.
Par ailleurs nous sommes passés par le groupe touristique qu'ils recommandent quand vous arrivez à Las Cabinas afin de faire les excursions (canoë dans le parc) et nous avons adoré !
Le gros bémol c'est la literie entre la qualité du matelas (ressors dans le dos) ainsi que le protège matelas plastifié qui tient bien chaud et fait du bruit dès qu'on se tourne dans le lit : sommeil pas réparateur assuré... C'est vraiment dommage car sinon c'est super et très abordable en comparaison aux autres locations.
Very beautiful garden and hammocks outside of the room to enjoy. The room is also quite big and the bathroom as well and super nice. We would come again. Coffee in the morning is for free. Good vibes.
The women who run it are lovely and the guest house pretty with free coffee
The noise - we stayed mid week and the music was so loud it was terrible
Super propre la chambre et la salle de bain sentent bon, bon emplacement dans le centre, cuisine équipée (qui appartient aussi à la famille), jolie jardin. Y’a pas eu énormément de bruits en semaine, pas du tout dérangé. Clim.

Le jardin est magnifique.. L'hôteliere , sympathique, nous renseigne et nous donne de bons conseils sur les excursions proposées . Elle fait les réservations . L'emplacement est très bien . L'hôtel,les commerces , l'embarcadère sont dans le ruelle principale .La longue plage à 200 mètres .
Café , thé à disposition toute la journée : très appréciable.
Tous les soirs le restaurant boîte de nuit ,en face,met de la musique trop fort ..
Avec des bouchons d'oreilles ,on " supporte " .
L'hôteliere m'a dit qu'elle n'y pouvait rien

La habitación con mucha gente. Aunque había ventiladores hacía calor.
Los baños se atascaban con facilidad.

Natura, struttura e accoglienza

Chambre très spacieuse et confortable, avec la climatisation et l’eau chaude qui font du bien! Également très bien situé!
La cuisine commune était un grand avantage, mais c’était parfois difficile de pouvoir y accéder étant donné qu’il y a seulement 3 feux et que la cuisine est également celle que la famille utilise! Mais en soit, c’est faisable!
The cabinas are super! Spacious, comfortable, with a nice seating area and hammock on the verandah to use. The garden is very relaxing, and you might be lucky to see monkeys and birds. It's very central in Tortuguero to walk to the docks, the park entrance for Jaguar Trail and all restaurants all in around 5 mins. Same for the beach (just go past Taylors Restaurant). Free tea and coffee all day is nice, too.
As it says on the property listing you may get some noise from the bar opposite on weekends, so bring earplugs. Fri & Sat we had noise but nothing on Sunday.
The staff were so helpful for our stay, always free coffee and so so close to the national park, it was perfect!
