Hotel Apollon Saranda

The hotel, especially the exteriors are brilliant. The beach bar and beach, plus the restaurant where breakfast is served is great. Erind and Liam were such great servers. We got a deluxe double room w partial sea view. Unfortunately the room was pretty small, and there were definitely some finishing touches needed. The bathroom not having a full shower screen needs addressing urgently. The view and balcony were nice too. We were only there for 2 nights, I think if we were staying longer we'd have found the room really quite tiny and restrictive.

Le petit déjeuner très varié et excellent.
Nous avons mangé 2 fois au restaurant, c’était très bon. Dommage que les 2 fois, nos pats n’ont pas été servis en même temps et les plats manquait d’accompagnement.

Amazing hotel, very modern with a beautiful terrace for enjoying breakfast or dinner. Good options for breakfast. The private beach is not exactly private as anyone can walk across the beach or rent the sun loungers. We were told 20% discount for renting the sun beds for hotel guests, but in reality was 5€ off on all the different categories, cheapest ones are 10€ for two loungers and parasol (50€ for the beds with the netting over the sea). Parking is free and private at the hotel which was a big plus

Good beach bar with cocktails, beer etc and tasty pizza and they accept card payment. Special shoutout to Erind who was always cheerful and very kind to us!

Only comments I have was that you had to rent beach towels, 2€ per towel per day. The hotel is approx 15-20 mins walk to the main promenade but there are plenty of options for restaurants nearby.

Heute ging unsere erste Albanienwoche im Apollon Saranda zu Ende. Das Hotel ist mit seiner Sauberkeit, seinem tollen Personal zu 1000 Prozent zu empfehlen. Hervorzuheben sind hier die Angestellten der Strandbar sowie beim Frühstück, welche alle nach 1 Tag wussten was man trinkt ❤️ Der Strand und die Lage sind top, dass einzige was bemängelt werden kann , ist unsererseits dass Frühstücksbuffet. Wer sich halbwegs gesund ernähren möchte ist hier Fehl am Platz. Es gibt keinen Müsli und das einzige Obst sind hier Apfel , Bananen und Orangen, jedoch nicht geschnitten sondern als Ganzes. Ansonsten gab es Pizza, vieles an Kuchen und Ei. Wenn dies zukünftig erweitert würde, einfach nur ein Tophotel.❤️❣️

Avoid avoid avoid. I booked a Superior Double Room with a Queen-size bed but was given a room with two single beds pushed together—completely different and uncomfortable. Misrepresentation at its finest. The room was in poor condition, with personal laundry left on the balcony, which is unacceptable.

The worst part was the manager’s appalling behavior. She was rude, aggressive, and refused to give me her full name. When I asked about the hotel’s complaint process, she flatly denied it existed. At one point, she even put her hand in my face and laughed when I said I would call the police.

Despite admitting the room mistake, the manager refused to offer a proper solution or refund. She tried to downgrade my room. She accused me of being a "liar" when complained about the noise at night as I was situated on the ground floor. She agreed for a refund then changed her mind immediately after. The level of disrespect and lack of accountability from her was shocking. I strongly advise avoiding this hotel.

Very contemporary hotel convenient close to the beach

The room was lovely - very modern and large. We had a large double bed on one side of a partition and 2 proper single beds on the other side - perfect for our 2 teenage sons. The beds were super comfy. Bathroom clean & had a nice rainfall shower head as well as a ‘normal’ one.
The hotel itself had lovely public areas - light, airy & modern. Very funky. The breakfast area / restaurant overlooked the beautiful bay view out towards Corfu.
The beach area was nice - you have to pay for beds but various options starting at €10 through to €50 for the beds with nets.
Good area - about 15 minute walk to the port & add another 5 minutes to the main front. Plenty of places to eat & drink at reasonable prices.

Ótima localização, excelente atendimento, recepcionistas e garçons muitos atenciosos.
De frente para o mar e beach clube com descontos para quem estava no hotel.
Café da manhã maravilhoso.

So u know you get a 50% discount on the lounges on the beach in front of hotel 1000lek which is about right

Great ocean view, but not worth the price. Doesn’t feel like a 4-star at all.
Also beach is neither private nor adults-only. Basic breakfast.

We had a nice stay at Apollon, nice staff and hotel. Minor issues with some towels not looking clean as they were pretty stained. Would be good to include in the information at hotels.com that the sunbeds to the private beach wasn’t included but at a discounted price. But this didn’t put a damper on our stay.

La atención en recepción sobre todo por parte de Diana y su jefa (que no quiso decirme su nombre) nefasta, jamás me habían tratado así, haciendo como si no me escucharan y hablando entre ellas en alabanés y riéndose, les preguntaba y solo contestaban “have a good day, bye” eso cuando contestaban…
Más de 20 minutos esperando a que nos bajaran las maletas a la habitación, porque el hotel está lleno de escaleras, el ascensor está de adorno…
El desayuno mediocre y poca variedad (ni pan, ni bacon, ni variedad de frutas, no hay leche, zumo de naranja de brik…) encima tienes que coger el desayuno y volver a subir escaleras con el plato, el vaso de agua, el café, los cubiertos… y si se te olvida algo o quieres más … de nuevo baja y sube escaleras…
Sábanas sucias, arrugadas, baño con pelos…
Las buenas vistas al mar serán desde las plantas altas, porque en la primera, básicamente ves el techo del restaurante y a lo lejos ves un poco el mar…
Todos los trabajadores con el móvil en la mano (si queríamos algo teníamos que ir a buscarlo nosotras, porque ellos no se enteraban de que los llamábamos)
Y además no hay playa… si quieres estar ahí, mínimo tienes que pagar 25€ al día para estar en una hamaca y con el agua sucia, llena de botellas flotando, tiritas, alguna compresa… en fin, la malvarrosa no tiene nada que envidiarle a esta playa…

Flott hotell med veldig serviceinnstilt og hyggelig personal, spesielt i restauranten. De har privat strand, men man må betale ekstra for solseng og strandhåndkle. Kort avstand til promenaden

Personnel courtois et bon petit déjeuné. Il faut être un excellent chauffeur pour se stationner car très très étroit. Nous avions une chambre au rez-de-chaussée et l’éclairage n’était pas suffisant. Le plus désagréable, l’odeur d’humidité dès qu’on arrive à l’étage et qui pénètre dans la chambre. Il faut vraiment gérer l’odeur…

Een heel fijn verblijf gehad in dit hotel. De kamers waren schoon en mooi. Elke dag werd deze opgeruimd, schoongemaakt en werd alles aangevuld. Het persoon is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het voelde als familie. In de ochtend kan je heerlijk ontbijten met uitzicht op zee of ‘s avonds een lekker drankje nuttigen. De cocktails die gemaakt werden door Elibjana waren heerlijk en de gastvrijheid en humor van Erin zijn nu al een gemis. Het betreft een mooi terras. Je kan zo naar beneden lopen het strand op waar de bedjes al klaar staan.

Het hotel is ook op loopafstand van de boulevard waardoor alles makkelijk bereikbaar is. Tegenover het hotel heb je een kapster voor degene die even geen zin hebben om zelf hun haren te doen.

Het voelde dubbel om weg te gaan, want ben echt behandeld als familie. Ik kom hier zeker weer terug!
