Room smelled like a toilet, had very loud noise starting at 7:30am daily (construction), air conditioning was too cold at times, hard to regulate, beds too firm

Très bel hôtel, situé dans le cœur historique de Palerme avec de très beaux monuments. Le cadre et le confort correspondent très bien aux photos de Booking.
Nous avons séjourné 8 jours dans cet hôtel et nous n'avons pris que les petits déjeuners, corrects. Le restaurant panoramique est beau, mais sans vie, donc nous n'avons pas été tentés d'y manger.
La chambre confortable de l'hôtel était très calme, heureusement car dès que l'on sort de l'hôtel, on tombe sur les avenues bordées de restaurants qui sont pleins de monde et d'animations très bruyantes.
Nous avons trouvé dans d'autres quartiers des bons restaurants abordables et bien plus calmes.
L'avenue est piétonne, seuls les taxis et livreurs peuvent l'emprunter. Il faut faire attention aux trottinettes qui vous frôlent.
La circulation à Palerme est très désordonnée, aussi nous n'avons circulé qu'en cars qu'il faut aller prendre, assez loin, tout au bout des avenues, tout le centre historique étant piéton.
En ce qui concerne l'hôtel, à part l'animation du petit déjeuner, il n'y a rien pour vous retenir au bar, dans les très beaux salons qui se succèdent...

Really nothing
Location was brilliant, very near the Cathedral. The hotel is a very grand palazzo with chandeliers and period furniture in abundance! Our room was very peaceful despite being right on the main street. Restaurant on rooftop was also very memorable with a lovely meal.
It was a pity the bar was out of action whilst we were there.
We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this hotel.
First of all, the reception staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. They assisted us with everything we needed, from recommendations about the city and restaurant suggestions to practical advice on how to get around and the best times to visit different places. Every recommendation they gave us was excellent. No matter what questions we had, they were always patient, welcoming, and eager to help.
The hotel itself is beautiful and very well maintained. Everything was spotless and impeccably clean. The building has a charming, authentic Italian atmosphere and reminded us of a traditional Italian villa or palace, with elegant interiors and plenty of character.
The location is another major advantage. It is right in the heart of the city, in a pedestrian area, making it easy to explore all the main attractions on foot.
Overall, we could not have been happier with our stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palermo.
