Simply not a 5 star hotel. 3 at best.
Pros:

Decent room and bed. Very friendly reception staff.

Cons:

This is the only 5 star rated hotel in Berat. Well 5 star it is not. It is a peculiar building which has been converted from a former University. The whole property has a cheap feel to it. Utilitarian furniture, laminated chipboard etc. The spa is derelict, the pool non operational and the breakfast simply the worst imaginable. The grounds are scruffy (the norm for Albania to be fair) and everything has a broken down feel to it. There are many better options available in Berat. Simply don’t get taken in as we were by the five star rating.

Acesta nu este un hotel de 5 stele, atât camera pe care am rezervat-o , deluxe , nu îndeplinea standardele pentru 5 stele deluxe și nici micul dejun nu se ridica la nivelul unui hotel de 5 stele.
În concluzie, nu recomand acest hotel.

Ein spektakuläres Gebäude. Freundliches Personal. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Große, saubere Zimmer.

Cons:

Das Hotel sieht von außen beeindruckend aus. Außergewöhnliche Architektur. Die Betten waren bequem und das Zimmer war sauber.
Das schönste ist die Lobby.

Cons:

Das Hotel wirbt mit fünf Sternen. Es hat maximal drei verdient. Preis / Leistung stimmen überhaupt nicht. Die Zimmermöbel bestehen aus billigsten Spanplatten. Teilweise fehlt das Furnier. Das Laminat im Zimmer ist nicht sauber verlegt. Der Teppich in den Gängen ist eine Stolperfalle und nicht sauber verlegt. Das Frühstück bietet eine gewisse Auswahl. Allerdings ist es komplett lieblos präsentiert. Das Personal wirkt teilnahmslos. Der Wellness Bereich wird umgebaut und ist geschlossen. Die Geräte im Fitnessraum sind teilweise defekt und Zubehör liegt in Stapeln in der Ecke.

Die Silikonfugen im Badezimmer sind stark verschimmelt. Es riecht teilweise nach Abwasserkanal.
Die Duschprodukte sind billigst.

Schade. Mit etwas mehr Einsatz wäre es ein einzigartiges Hotel.

J'ai réservé exprès cette hôtel pour le spa, à mon arrivée on m'annonce qu'il est fermé et nous n'avons pas payé moins cher pour autant, la déception.Ça aurait été bien de le préciser, j'aurais pris un autre hôtel

Fantastic hotel! A short walk from the centre and everything was perfect!

El aparcamiento y la amplitud

Cons:

El desayuno pobre, frío y con pocas opciones, las instalaciones viejas, el baño necesita mejorar mucho las piezas del baño y la mampara oxidadas. Lo de colgar el papel higiénico roto. No parece un 5 estrellas

Nur die Lage -
Schönes Gebäude von außen

Cons:

Extrem hellhörig. (ZB Straße oder auch Kinder welche 3 Zimmer weiter sich unterhalten - könnten im eigenen Raum stehen)
Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel sollte etwas mehr Ausstattung existieren:
Kein Bügeleisen, kein Schuhanzieher, kein Regenschrim…
Sauna geschlossen, Pool geschlossen (außerhalb der Saison)
Unmotiviertes Personal und ein Gym welcher lange nicht aufgeräumt wurde
Bettwäsche mit Schuhabdrücken
