Really good cream tea and the service was brilliant.
Excellent room with lots of extra's and high quality furnishings. Great location near everything and nice views. Did not eat or have drink there but the dinning/ bar area looked great.

Nous avions réservé avec petit déjeuner c’était bien noté sur notre réservation booking mais le personnel n’avait pas de trace de la réservation des petits déjeuners il a fallu leur montrer à deux reprises et en insistant notre réservation et paiement…. Moment pas très agréable….
Overall, the hotel itself is great clean, comfortable, with friendly staff at check-in and a generally pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were exactly what I expected, and I had a good stay in terms of comfort and facilities.
However, the bar service was extremely disappointing and really let the experience down. There was often no one around to serve, and on multiple occasions the bar was simply unattended. What made it worse was being told at check-in that the bar operates 24 hours, only to go for a drink after 11pm and be told it was closed. That was frustrating and misleading.
It’s hard to understand how the bar is still running with such poor service and lack of availability. With better staffing and clearer communication about opening hours, this place could easily be excellent. As it stands, the hotel is great but the bar situation needs serious improvement.

What a gem of a hotel! Perfectly located in the centre of it all and a very short walk from the train station. The staff were so friendly, from the lovely receptionists who greeted us warmly whenever we arrived back, so the waiting staff at breakfast. Sally our breakfast host was just delightful! We are already planning out next visit!

The space was comfortable. The location was perfect and close to everything; sometimes I would stop back in between activities. Housekeeping was quick and excellent.
We had a wonderful time with afternoon tea. Thanks to the very friendly staff member Sally, we learned a lot about tea tradition and the different blends.
The breakfast is great. I ordered my favorites breakfast instead of buffet style. Sally is very professional, friendly and helpful. have a good night sleep. great location as in centre of the town.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We spent three nights here. The room was quite comfortable and the bath towels are on a heated rack - nice to have warm towels! The breakfast is delicious with both cold and hot items. Sali was working during our stay and was very attentive and helpful! The bar area is also very nice and Mia took good care of us. All of the staff were very helpful. The hotel is located where you can travel by foot just about anywhere. Glad we stayed here!
