Location, staff, modernity
Some dust around, tea bags not topped up, no fridge,
A fantastic 2 night stay right in the centre of Bath so no car or cabs needed. The Roman Baths/shops/spa/pubs and restaurants are on your doorstep. Very friendly and helpful staff. On checking in I asked for a quiet room and they accommodated us no problem. We soon realised the heating wasn't working properly and they remedied that very quickly. The handyman was very polite and helpful. Lovely ladies toilet. Very comfy bed and massive telly. The only feedback would be the ensuite needs more storage for toiletries, there was just one tiny glass shelf already full. We had to put a table in there from the bedroom for our toiletry bags! The hotel bar is very nice and the restaurant did a fabulous breakfast. Quick service and delicious food cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend. The city itself is beautiful and we ticked every box including the rooftop spa and we are also now fully educated on the delicious Bath Bun.
Great location! Lovely staff. Love that it’s dog friendly as we brought our dog with us. Good breakfast too.
I felt the rooms just needed a little deep clean, a re fresh, it felt and looked a little tired. Dressing gowns and towels provided looked and felt like they had been used many times, lost their comfort and freshness.
Stayed here with my mum in a 2 bed suite, we arrived early and were able to check in. We were both really impressed, the suite was huge and immaculate. Décor was lovely and although one of the bedrooms faced a busy street it was quiet. Robes and complimentary toiletries, water, tea, coffee and biscuits in each bedroom. Fittings, fixtures and furniture are high end and beds were very comfortable. Cleaning was of a very high standard. We couldn't fault our stay at all.
Excellent location.
The property was generally quite tired and worn, although the rooms were comfortable and relatively clean. We had booked this hotel as information said dog-friendly, but when we arrived there were additional charges added when there was no mention of this on their website or on booking.com. £35 per night is excessive!
Its location.
Quality fittings & fixtures in the room.
We were upgraded to a suite for no extra cost and it was a stunning room with an amazing dressing room and bathroom!
Maybe the bar area could be upgraded.
Also the carpet in reception was outdated and not a good look.
Staff were friendly we turned up at 11 pm was helpedful helped carry luggae to room so cutiouse then the room ooooo was amazong bed was cpmfy as hella all clean nk mess bathroom was sublime was amazimg
Nothing was perfect visit to bath x
The Hotel is in a fabulous location right next to the Abbey. Welcoming staff informed us that we had been upgraded to a junior suite, which was a nice surprise. It was a beautiful room with the biggest bathroom i have ever seen! Breakfast was included in our room rate and was plentiful and delicious.
Although the junior suite was beautiful, it was basement level with no windows or ability to have fresh air. We didn’t get a great night’s sleep because the air con wasn’t very effective and was noisy. In fairness to the hotel, we didn’t say anything and give them an opportunity to move us or anything because we were only there for 2 nights and couldn’t be bothered to move rooms. But it’s something to point out in case it’s something that would bother future customers.
Location and boutique hotel vibe.
Parking but I get the trade off is the location.
