Pros:

Clean, well set out room. Delightful staff and fabulous breakfast.

Cons:

Nothing really, but being extra picky the grey hand soap in the bathroom was a bit ridiculous and quite messy and the tea provided in the room was a bit ordinary.

If the staff were not so obliging and helpful, I would have changed hotels.
Pros:

The ambiance and staff were wonderful

Cons:

Room was too noisy. The air con unit outside the room contributed to ongoing noise 24/7. The room had 2 glass walls, which was great for the view however, the window glazing did not stop the exterior noise completely. Also, paying for a room on the executive level, one would expect that services associated with these executive rooms would have separate dining room etc. Being charged additional fee for a latte at breakfast when the breakfast is price inclusive was not good either.

We will be back, our new go to for Melbourne CBD accommodation.
Pros:

Outstanding service across all areas, reception, porters, kitchen and restaurant staff. A beautiful hotel with an interesting history, the rooms are very comfortable, has TV chromecast , good wifi and an excellent breakfast.
