Un havre de paix situé à 10min du centre ville et littéralement 2min de la plage à pied. Hôte de grande qualité qui sait répondre aux attentes de voyageurs. Merci encore 🙏

Klein mexicaans paradijs
Pros:

We hebven en fantastische tijd gehad in dit kleine paradijsje. Alles is voortreffelijk geregeld. Bedden zijn heerlijk, dikke zachte handdoeken, prachtig mexicaas ingericht en midden in de natuur maar een paar stappen lopen naar het strand en 10 minuten naar het kleine plaatsje. Wij zijn uiteindelijk 5 dagen langer gebleven dan gepland. Onze gastvrouw Cristina heeft ons in alles heel erg verwend. Wat een lieve vrouw. Wij hopen echt nog een keer terug te komen!

Cons:

In tegenstelling tot de verschillende meningen over Holbox, was het voor ons, mede door de ligging van de locatie heerlijk ontspannen dagen. Muziek en vertier kun je opzoeken. Dus er was echt nuets wat ons tegenviel. Hooguit de vele golfkarretjes die in onze ogen de rust maar ook de sfeer niet ten goede komen. Maar 10 dagen met je blote voetjes door het zand, heerlijk!

Schönes Zimmer, nur ohne Ausblick - und leider in einem Hundezwinger.

Wir hatten ein schönes und großes Zimmer. Christina war super-freundlich.

Cons:

Zimmer war leider etwas dunkel und ohne jeglichen Ausblick.
Anders als die Fotos der Unterkunft erwarten ließen, gab es keinen öffentlichen Bereich zum chillen, sprich weder Liegen noch Hängematte, lediglich zwei unbequeme Stühle und ein kleiner Tisch draußen vor der Tür - nichts zum relaxen oder um mal entspannt ein Buch im Garten zu lesen.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist nicht ganz perfekt. Zwar weit genug weg vom Zentrum, um nicht mitten im Trubel zu sein, aber auch etwas weiter weg vom Strand. Der daraus resultierende mangelnde Wind sowie die direkt angrenzenden Brachgrundstücke führen zu erhöhtem Mückenaufkommen.
Das eigtl. Problem an der Unterkunft ist aber das Setup mit dem Haushund. Wir sind zwar tierlieb und haben schon viele Hunde in Unterkünften genossen, dieser Hund ist allerdings eine Nummer größer und aufgrund seines jugendlichen Alters deutlich wilder als der gemeine Haushund. Er springt einen an, schnappt nach der Hand, biss in unser Kiteboard und bellte zu allem Überfluss auch Tags und Nachts immer wieder länger. Irgendwie auch uncool, wenn man auf der ohnehin kleinen privaten Terrasse morgens frühstückt (Selbstverpflegung) und der Hund direkt einen Meter davor uriniert. Aber da die Kothaufen auch im Garten rumlagen, ist der Garten wohl seine Toilette. Der Hund kann nichts dafür, dass er nicht erzogen ist, als Gast aber kann man auch nichts dafür. Hier liegt die Verantwortung beim Eigentümer der Unterkunft.

Excellent, wish we had booked for longer. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed in.
Pros:

Beautiful and tranquil. Lovely design with interesting garden. The accommodation was quiet and cool. About 1 minute walk to beach. Really lovely host Cristina. They provided drinking water and coffee. Bed was comfortable. Shower good. Very dark at night and no noise.
15 mins walk to centre of town either along beach or sandy track.

Cons:

You could only pay by cash or PayPal ( with 5% added). They didn’t accept cards or iban transfer. There are numerous cash machines in town but all temporarily out of order so make sure you bring enough cash ( when you book Christina does advise this ).

Muy linda posada. La ubicación nos gustó mucho. Cerca del mar y del centro. Muy tranquila la zona. Sin ruidos. Muy bien atendidos por Cristina. Hubo algunos problemas con el agua caliente pero los solucionaron. Muy cómodo el cuarto con cocina.

Cons:

Detalles que no tienen que ver con el hotel.... oscura la calle de acceso, hay que llevar linterna, ruido del viento muy fuerte en el techo, pero porque habia mal tiempo.

Toller Aufenthalt bei einer großartigen Gastgeberin
Pros:

Wir haben zwei Nächte im Apartment Alegría verbracht und uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön gestaltet, und das Apartment selbst ist großzügig geschnitten und sehr gemütlich. Das Bett war äußerst bequem und dank der ruhigen Lage haben wir hervorragend geschlafen. Cristina ist eine großartige Gastgeberin – sehr herzlich, sympathisch und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Auf unsere Anfrage hin hat sie uns sofort einen Föhn organisiert, da zunächst keiner im Apartment vorhanden war.

Cons:

Einziger kleiner Verbesserungspunkt ist der Wasserdruck in der Dusche, der etwas stärker sein könnte, was jedoch wirklich Meckern auf hohem Niveau ist.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, die Kommunikation lief durchgehend einwandfrei. Wir hatten oben die Dachterrasse, es war unglaublich schön eingerichtet, sauber und sehr gemütlich. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Lage ist super: nicht mittendrin, man hat seine Ruhe und es ist trotzdem alles fußläufig erreichbar. Aber unbedingt die Moskito-Warnung beachten! Uns hat es richtig gut gefallen, wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen :-)

The place is very close to the beach and still within a convenient walking distance from the city center. Cristina, who works there, was very kind and helpful.

Cons:

The low score I’m giving is due to poor management, which unfortunately spoiled the overall experience of what is otherwise a beautiful place. This is not Cristina’s responsibility, but rather the result of the owners’ decisions.

The toilet flush did not work for most of our stay. We had to find improvised ways to flush it, such as using a garbage container, which was extremely uncomfortable and a major inconvenience. This is not acceptable given the price we paid.

I understand that plumbing issues can occur on the island, but this should be the property’s responsibility, not the guests’. It is particularly disappointing because I booked this place to celebrate our birthdays, and the situation really ruined what was meant to be a special stay

At check-out, I requested a modest €25 discount out of the total €230 paid to partially compensate for the inconvenience, but the owner refused, showing little concern for customer satisfaction.

Additionally, the property only accepts cash or PayPal payments—no credit cards—which is quite inconvenient on an island where cash is not always easy to withdraw.
