Pros:

Best part of my trip. Beautiful boutique hotel right on a quiet beach. Rooms were clean and bed was incredibly comfortable. Have your own private outdoor shower with all the sounds of crashing waves and monkeys. Wish I would have stayed here the entire trip

Herrliche Ruhe in angenehmer tropischer Atmosphäre
Pros:

Wir haben das größere Zimmer (Misha) gehabt und die Einrichtung geliebt (offene Dusche nach oben, balinesischer Stil, die warmen Farbtöne). Alles war sehr sauber. Eduardo war sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksambiente ist klasse, mit Blick auf das Meer im tropischen Garten. Und Lily, die seit Beginn an hier kocht (wohl schon 30 Jahre) zaubert ein fantastisches Frühstück! Die Lage kann ich allen nur empfehlen, die die Ruhe lieben. Weit weg vom Trubel in Tamarindo. Tatsächlich ist der Sonnenuntergang am Strand direkt vor der Anlage einmalig!

Romantic, leisurely and laid back beach/ jungle vibes - best of both worlds
Pros:

This was my second time staying here. We stayed in the Sasha junior suite. The staff is always so friendly, the food is phenomenal, and the views and property can’t be beat. If you’re looking for an authentic Costa Rican experience within walking distance of central Tamarindo, this is definitely a great choice. We will definitely be back !

Loved our stay and highly recommend this property for a true CR experience.
Pros:

Eduardo and his team were fantastic! Great location 5 min drive into downtown Tamarindo. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and loved the outdoor bathroom and shower. Morning breakfast was delicious. Right on the beach with plunge pool.

Wonderful Boutique hotel with great customer service!!
Pros:

The property delivered exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a cozy little spot, small and boutique, right on the ocean and that is what Sueño Del Mar is. My teenage daughter and I came and stayed for a week and we were delighted with it.

Eduardo and staff were amazingly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The three-course breakfast was absolutely delicious. The best way to start the day is grab your cup of coffee and sit on the lounge chairs overlooking the ocean.

We saw howler monkeys swinging in the trees and iguanas roaming the property. It was a very Costa Rican vibe and I highly recommend a stay.

Cons:

The beach is quite rocky by the hotel and you really can’t swim but we were still about to dip in the water and the tide pooling was fun.
