We always stay here but will check out other hotels next visit still on Macleo.
Pros:

Location and usually clean. Nice bathrooms.

Cons:

One elevator was out of commission supposedly being serviced but we didn’t see anyone working on it. The one working sounded as though it too needed serving. Long wait for the elevator.
Breakfast the first morning had pork n beans instead of hash browns… next morning back to hash browns.

Probably Will Not Be Back
Pros:

The check in time of 4pm is hard to understand...if previous guests check out at 11am, how can the rooms not be available until 5 hours later...and the swimming pool only opening at 9am...there is no lifeguard on duty...open it at 8am instead.

Disappointing. Very basic room.
Pros:

breakfast was ok. No fruit, no yogurt

Cons:

The pillows were lumpy and some really short. No extra blankets provided. No phamlets or information in the rooms. Very, very basic hotel room. If Stanley Park Calgary was not within walking distance, I would not consider staying here again.

Friendly staff and comfortable beds. House keeping and facilities need attention.
Pros:

Room was a good size for two people. The beds were comfortable. Toiletries were provided. Parking was free and easy. Breakfast had a variety of choices and was fresh, hot and tasty. The front desk and kitchen staff were very friendly. The location was excellent, conveniently located very close to our reason for going to Calgary (shopping at Chinook Mall) and on a major road (Macleod Trail).

Cons:

The TV and house phone in the room did not work. Getting assistance took considerable time. We were moved to another room, which stank of cigarette smoke, but we were too tired to move again. There was poop in the hallway. The pool was freezing.
