Better than expected. Better than the previous stay last year. Front desk was great.
Pros:

Visible difference from the previous year. Investment in the property and staff. Way better.

Cons:

Need to take out the trash in front. Sat for days and blew all over the parking lot. Need more after hours food options.

Pros:

One of the cleaners stole my son’s EarPods. We filed an incident report and told the front desk desk, we will be gone for 2 hours, so tell the cleaning crew if they are back in the room when we come back, all will be good. And amazingly, they reappeared. Also, they were charging their phones on our charging cords

This hotel does not treat its guests well when they get hurt on the property

It was very nice and the pool was wonderful in the past.

Cons:

I went to my room 210, and was checking out the room when I walked into the bathroom and I felt wetness on my face. I went to put the light on and slipped and fell on the floor in water. Once the light was on you could clearly see water coming out of the ceiling near the tub. I had to go to the hospital with a back injury and bruised swollen leg from hitting the tub when I fell and I was there until 9am. To sum it up, I paid for my room and didn’t even get to sleep in there because I was at the hospital. I did not use my room due to an injury sustained at this hotel and was treated like I did something wrong.

Our room had apparently been painted and the bathroom caulked, which ended up with caulking all over the rug in the living room area, stains on the rug (blood or juice or nail polish), the bathroom door did not shut all the way from the paint and caulking. The maintenance did what they could for us, because I did not want to switch rooms. All in all, it was a good stay.
