Great location, could use deep cleaning and new furnishings
Pros:

Location is Great

Desk staff was nice at our 10pm arrival

Pool water seemed to be taken care of

Room was spacious

Queen mattresses were comfortable

Appropriate amount of towels and rags were provided

Cons:

Breakfast hot items were of very low quality: the reconstituted eggs were sitting in excess water, the hash browns were pale and floppy, the bacon was flavorless and paper thin.

Room carpet was dirty enough to darken the bottoms of our feet which gave me low confident in the fundamental hygiene of the whole room.

Room AC was very effective but loud and disruptive to sleep. It was better keeping the unit on "constant fan" when sleeping.

The entire facility could use deep cleaning, refreshing, and new furniture.

Outside parking area and perimeter needs litter pick up.

I will choose to spend a little more for Hampton inn next time. Place needs sprucing up.

Location is great. Clean comfortable bed and bath.

Cons:

Property needs some serious facelift. Patches on room ceiling, bathroom door peeling, couch looked bad, bad smell in third floor hallway, third floor ice maker not working.

Quiet with Nice Front Desk Staff
Pros:

Hotels in Charleston are insanely expensive, so we stayed at this one across the harbor in Mount Pleasant, but for two nights, Thursday and Friday, it was still outrageous, averaging $240 per night. This is a typical hotel with nothing special to offer, including the same breakfast at any other hotel that's less than half the price. Traffic getting to and across the bridge into Charleston is unpredictable and can backup for multiple reasons, so plan your time accordingly, because delays can be long. The hotel is hard to find, in the back of a very crowded strip mall with an easy-to-miss entrance into the mall parking lot. Our room overlooked the pool, but luckily the noise from kids playing didn't last into the evening. The hotel itself was fine, with friendly staff and a clean room.

Very good, great staff, very friendly. Everything was great, my family loved it. We stayed two days. Excellent location. Good restaurants, the sea is 15 minutes away. Very excellent. Thank you. I will return soon.

Pros:

This hotel is in desperate need of a makeover. There isn't one piece of furniture that isn't stained or worn out. The hotel smells musty and the rooms are worse. The staff was friendly enough but that doesn't make up for the condition of pretty much everything. Even the parking lot was dirty.
