At the moment of booking, there wasn't any notice about the pool and gym renovation and at the check in there wasn't any mention or noticed about it, when my wife and I went to use the facilities it's when we noticed the renovation work, if I had known before about the renovation, frankly I would not had booked the night.

Pros:

Amazing location, great breakfast choice, really good value, free upgrade of room to family room so our kids had bunkbeds. Big room size.
