DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING BLOCK HERE!
Pros:

DO NOT BOOK FOR WEDDING BLOCKS. We had a block for a wedding in April 2026. As part of the block, we had secured the FREE shuttle. The DAY OF THE WEDDING, our guests were told we didn't have a shuttle for our wedding, and when the groom went to deal with the situation, were told that they don't have anymore shuttles. They additionally did not offer any assistance or suggestions for how to proceed and offered nothing to us or our guests for the headache. The bridal party was scrambling hours before the wedding calling around Elgin trying to find day of shuttle service (which was found, but also cost us $1k we were not planning to spend). This was hardly how we planned to celebrate my sister's big day. I will never book with Best Western again, and if you're a bride or groom looking to book a block, AVOID this location.

Clean and comfortable
Pros:

The king room we had was small but adequate. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, good pool area and fitness room, nice staff. The outdoor garden space accessible from the rooms is very nice and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

For the price point you can’t go wrong.
Pros:

The breakfast was just so-so. Turkey sausage is terrible and the scrambled egg disc things were better than nothing I guess. The OJ and toast was good. I really appreciated the room and the overall cleanliness of everything. If I had a complaint I would say that the water pressure in the shower was pretty weak. None the less I still feel it was a very good experience and will stay there whenever I’m in the area.

I can see myself returning here in the future.
Pros:

Very tidy clean rooms. Room smelled fresh. Good location for our travel destination. Friendly staff. Breakfast was normal, nothing too fancy, but still good for being free. I saw they opened the breakfast area a little extra time for a family with children that woke up later, that’s nice of them.

Cons:

Nothing to complain. I wish they had an indoor jacuzzi, but only had a pool.
