Disappointing. Not up to expectations.
Pros:

Breakfast was tasty at least.

Cons:

The hallway smelled like poop, bathroom smelled moldy. Place was somewhat run down, and I was suprised that breakfast was extra. We paid for breakfast, and we get ONE cup of coffee. No refills!
Probably won't stay at a Marriott Courtyard again.

Very disappointed. Maybe one of the worst Marriott properties I have visited.
Pros:

The location was good. Parking in the front was well lit. The staff were polite.

Cons:

Roaches in the room, the smell of the room was old with a hint of cigarette smell. Face cloths from the previous guest or from cleaning staff was left in the bathroom.

Pros:

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They when over and above,I needed a handicap room.
I was very thankful for their spirits.

Cons:

I can't think of any thing right now. The rain but the staff can't control that.

I would stay here again, I just think a few things need to be upgraded.
Pros:

Alicia at the front desk was amazing. She was so friendly and helpful; I think they are very lucky to have her. I also liked the location and the balcony.

Cons:

The desk was broken and it was held up by a chair. As stated earlier, I loved having a small balcony, but the door was very hard to open and close.

Chef's Kiss: Beds & Pillows
Pros:

We stopped at the Courtyard in Rocky Mount, NC on our way to see family. While our stay here was very brief (overnight), I wanted to share that: the staff were extremely friendly and helpful (thank you all), the hotel & our rooms were very clean.

The best part of our stay were the beds/pillows in our rooms-- they were the absolute BEST beds and pillows at any hotel we've ever stayed at!! We had a great night sleep so we were very well rested for our continuing road trip the next day!! THANK YOU!!

Pros:

Staff were awesome, friendly and courteous. Great crew!!

Cons:

The bed was terrible, lumpy and uncomfortable. The drain in the tub was all rusty, The carpet on the 3rd floor hallway was stained and worn. Surprised for a Marriott.
