Cons:

Never got the room i booked. I booked a room with a balcony either a bay view. I ended up a room facing the freeway and the train. With a balcony that was dirty and unusable. Bright light on the porch and there was safety issues. Moldy i will not stay there again.

The ambiance is very calm and pleasant, staff were very pleasant, and accommodating. The room is clean, the area is quiet.

Cons:

The wifi/internet was not working well, and the location is 20 minutes drive to downtown

Pros:

Location was perfect for us, the front desk staff was very friendly, the place was modern and clean.

Cons:

Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment -- we booked with the breakfast option, we received the voucher but there really wasn't much to the breakfast. Had we known, we would have just gone elsewhere for breakfast.

A Saving Grace after I had to cancel another hotel stay due to health and safety concerns <3
Pros:

I had booked a reservation at another hotel a few blocks away. The other hotel was horror-movie-scary and I instantly NOPED right on out of there! It was late, the weekend of the super bowl and I needed a last minute hotel that wouldn't blow my work travel budget. Sonesta Saved the day! The hotel was clean and had many areas that were set up for hanging out, in a stylish setup. This wasn't a hotel where the layout makes you feel like you can only exist in your room. The common area was nice and had table top games, infused water and comfy seating arrangements. The staff was so friendly and anticipated my needs. I received a complimentary upgrade to a Suite!
The property is also located on a beautiful walking trail, next restaurants/shops. Perfect location

Cons:

I wish i could have extended my stay but I had a flight to catch.
