Courtyard by Marriott Layton

I enjoyed my Stay w this Property in large part due to the Friendliness and Attentiveness of Staff; in particular Justin, Mckayla, and Anaya. The room was comfortable w streaming TVs, and the Fitness Center is big and nice free weights. Anaya does a good job w meals at the Bistro. The Property is in a great part of town w Target and all sorts of restaurants walkable. Friendly and Quiet Property. Good Stay.

I would like to thank Anaya, Lex,Justin, and River for all the great help that they gave me while I was there at the hotel this week. I had a grueling experience trying to get here from the East Coast. It started off with snow in Maryland. Everything that could go wrong that day did go wrong, but they made my experience even on the first day of my disappointments the most exciting and fun time that I could have possibly asked for. We shared stories and plenty of laughter! The room was not up to my satisfaction and was changed on the next day. I did have issues with the water not getting hot but it was taken care of within the couple of hours that I reported the incident. I atmosphere was great, the room was clean, and very quiet which is what I needed. I enjoyed the food that I had at the Bistro restaurant, thanks to Anaya!! Sometimes when things go wrong. As long as you have great people that are trying to accommodate you, it makes everything better. The problems that you had don't seem so big.

The room was ok, either hot or cold. Older so there was a big gap between the bottom of the door and the floor, so very very noisy. Also right by the road so between the cars and the very noisy ice machine in the hall not a restful night. Check in staff was nice, Justin super friendly and kind.

The best pillows and sheets I’ve ever had at a hotel

Room was broken down. Had to change rooms due to broken tv. Second room had many things broken that could have been easily fixed. Mold was visible in shower and bathroom. Ac was busted and very loud. Couldn’t get comfortable due to loud tenants , so room doesn’t have great sound proof. Only plus about the room was microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine. Location of the hotel was great as there’s lots of options and stores nearby. But I wouldn’t plan my stay at this hotel again.

We usually love courtyards but this one had issues we never had before. The room was very muggy and humid no matter what the temp was. By the second day the hot water was not hot. And by our 3rd day there was no hot water. They let us use another room for the water only, staff was nice and courteous. The area was great and many options for dining.

The Howell was very nice and clean, and the location was so convenient. This will be my go to hotel for future trips.

had to wait ~10 minutes for someone to show up to check us in. Bed was comfortable, room was cramped, bathroom was spacious. breakfast was overly expensive: got the same thing the next day across the street for about 1/3 the price.

The hot tub was cold, grounds were very poorly kept. Breakfast is overpriced ?

Property was very run down. Pool area had rust and peeling paint. Property definitely didn’t look like the photos.

I have no idea what the hotel was like because I had to cancel my trip.
Your website makes it impossible to get any kind of refund even though I canceled one month in advance.
I’m sorry I didn’t book a cancellation fee.
My $125. Mistake reminds me to never book with Expedia ever again.
I’m deleting your app and booking with your competitors
for the rest of my life.

Room was nice, air conditioning worked very well, good bed. But the bathroom design is poor. No counter, space, slippery bathtub shower should be updated.
