Very kind and helpful service from Alwin at the front desk! He sorted out our booking immediately upon arrival and was very fast with checking us in! Our room was very clean and it had all the amenities including kettle and selection of teas and coffee, tv and hairdryer! Definitely good value for money for our 1 night stop over.
Alvin was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, quiet and functional. Suiting our needs for a one night stop over. Would book again
Friendly, helpful staff.
Basic but clean room. Good value for the price.
Comfortable bed, extra pillows in room if needed.
Various fast food options a short walk away.
£5 parking charge if you don’t book direct - I thought I had booked direct so watch this.
4/5 as the bathroom needs some TLC but perfectly fine for 1 night stopover.
I would stay again as excellent value.
Excellent value. Option for early in and English breakfast option. Great location in nature doesn't give a feel of being on a service station.large size rooms, clean and tidy.
Nice stay very surprised about all
Clean room, comfortable bed, all required facilities (including microwave and toaster available from reception) and a very friendly helpful gentleman (Alwin) on reception.
After my car broke down at Membury Services, I was left waiting from 1pm for the RAC to recover me. By 11pm, with no sign of assistance and little hope of being collected that night, I decided to check in to Days Inn so I could get some rest.
I was helped by one receptionist when I arrived late that evening and another the following morning, both of whom were exceptionally kind and understanding. After an incredibly stressful day, their warmth and compassion genuinely restored my faith in humanity - thank you!
The hotel is a little tired in places, but it was clean and comfortable. Free parking is included with your stay. It represented good value and was exactly what I needed in a last minute emergency.
Note to anyone reading this: NEVER USE RAC FOR BREAKDOWN COVER. It's now 48 hours on and my vehicle is still stranded at Membury Services.
Good location and super friendly and helpful staff. Toilet re-filling all night which was noisy.
This hotel is well run & very clean & comfortable. Feels very safe for a lady travelling alone to visit family.
Alwin on reception always polite & very helpful as are all the staff. I always enjoy my stay here. Your staff are your greatest asset, treat them like the gold they are.
Amazing hotel
Very clean and comfortable
Very friendly and helpful staff
Most comfortable beds
Nice and quite.
Use of microwave and toaster
Very nice place to stay all lot is scholar for food
The staff was welcoming and professional
The room was clean and had everything you need
Bathroom clearly not been cleaned.
Reception smelled like a cess pit.
£47 to stay here not worth more than £30 for the cleanliness of the place
Peaceful and quiet stay.
Friendly staff.
Place has restaurant in the service area.
Most restaurant and store close by 10pm.
NIce clean room, and ideal location. Food is limited and mainly fast food. Needs a decent restaurant. Quiet bearing in mind its a Motorway service station. Reasonable facilities though.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay.
Room 121 my fav
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality service, and a great overall experience.
In the dark it's difficult to find, I got out of my car and went and had a look around, the couple checking in behind me said the same thing. Apparently the signage isn't worth repairing/illuminating. I was late booking and got hopefully the worst room in the place, behind reception room 18? Sad doesn't begin to describe the neglect, it's not that housekeeping aren't doing their job, it's years of neglect. Rust around taps, hot water takes a while to come thru, the bath anti slip looked so disgusting I covered it with the hand towel before using shower. The loo seat was yellow from years of staining, a massive pube on the edge of the bath, yuk. On one of the mugs there was a sticker 'For rectal use only', one of the other guests sense of humour I guess. I removed it. Duvet cover had a couple of blood spots, I checked under the sheet for signs of bedbugs, it was that bad in the room. The bed was uncomfortable, however, the creaking floorboards above and a whistling .... in the corridor late at night, the outside noise were more irritating than the uncomfortable bed. The whole experience puts me off Days Inn after a previously good experience. The TV didn't have hygienic style controls that every other budget hotel seems to have, in the circumstances that was probably the least troubling part of the room. Obviously I wiped every touch surface around.
The stay was everything I needed it to be. Somewhere to put my head down with the facilities I needed. As I checked in of an evening and actually extended my stay, I met a young and very conscientious woman called Steffi. She wore a smile which was contagious and greeted me in a friendly manner. I needed a few bits and bobs in my room replacing/topping up during the time I was there and she was only too happy to help. I would go as far as booking this same hotel again having received such great service. For me it is things like this that resonate and leave a lasting imprint. So Steffi, keep up the good work, keep doing what your doing and you take a pleasant stay to a brilliant stay!
My wife and I found ourselves unexpectedly staying at the Days Inn Membury after an accident on the M4. Receptionist and front desk Alwin de Melo was understanding of our situation and incredibly helpful throughout, advising us of places to eat etc. He made a difficult situation much easier with his advice, empathy and professionalism. A lovely man who went above and beyond his job description and we truly grateful.

I want to commend Alwiy for his excellent customer service during my business trip last week. I had a booking issue that Alwiy sorted for me, and his friendliness and can-do attitude was a pleasure to deal with. He provided a warm welcome and I will now stay in Membury services over Chievely when working in the area as his service was a difference-maker.
Nice big family room with new beds. Great value for money. Especially Alwin was very friendly and helpful, directing me to some vegan options for breakfast and helping with the heating in the evening :)
