Watch out for silly £5 parking charge , even for loyalty members, even though the website says free parking overnight. The receptionist staff refused to waive the charge,so prepare yourself for parking charge
There was even a handy small fridge, an extra useful corner desk/table, working extractor fan and really helpful receptionists & good humoured cleaning staff : )
Very clean room and quiet, as slept during afternoon, early book in done by Karen, helpful staff as always.
Great value for money, the room was clean and tidy and had everything I needed. Plenty of parking on site. The service was very warm and friendly and Karen the receptionist is really lovely, every Days inn needs a Karen like Michaelwood's one 😀 A fab stay will definitely stay again if in the area!
We were a large family party with 5 rooms booked and Alvin was amazing, allocating our rooms and ensuring my elderly mum had a ground floor room. Hotel is clean and comfortable in a quiet location 👍
Great value for money, receptionist was polite, kind and really helpful, in fact all staff were great, room clean tidy, bed comfortable tea snd coffee was plentiful and shower was really good, highly recommended for a short stay.
Lovely staff who coudn't do enough for us.
Very comfortable rooms
Good value
Fantastic place.
Staff are amazing.
Great service, nice rooms and all at a reasonable rate.
A great place to stay, would definitely stay again. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Very helpful staff. The bed was comfy
Very nice hotel with a welcome staff
You have all you need in the rooms and it was very clean and worn
I did not have breakfast as it was next door but a lot of choises for evening meal
The best Days inn I've stayed in so far.. very clean and people was so nice there and helpful.. especially Melvin.. he made sure everything was perfect for the stay.. thank you.. definitely recommend this place..
We had a great stay on Friday The reception was friendly and really helpful.
The room was really warm and clean with a very comfortable bed and we all slept amazing feeling ready for the trip home. There was plenty of tea and coffee with more in reception if needed.
We found the staff so friendly and informative so a special thanks to you all. We have booked another stay for two weeks time. Best regards.
The Jewell family.
Good value for money, room was basis but clean and tidy, mattress was a little lumpy and water was not very hot to have a soak in the bath. Breakfast was value for money and not greasy, but did have to work across to the south services for breakfast
Yes very helpful staff called Paul, and no problem for an early book in. I would definely come again next time I am in the area.
Great staff good stay really comfy beds , easy check in and out
Good value for money very clean
Great for a stop over
Good parking
(1) We greatly appreciated the opportunity to bring in our dog for our overnight stay. (2) The front of house (we stayed 27/9/25 - 28/9/25) in the early evening (checked in around 5 pm) was very friendly and helped me to open the soap bottle from the bathroom sink that seemed to be stuck in the closed position. (3) The bed and room, in general, were comfortable and the shower had good power which was appreciated. (4) We felt our car and caravan were safe in the car park.
Negatives: (1) The £20 extra cost per night for including a pet is a bit expensive especially as I am not convinced that the room had any extra cleaning because our dog began scratching quite a lot after our one-night stay and I found a flea on her which prompted me to immediately purchase flea pills when we arrived at our final destination (at a cost of £15) the next day. She then stopped scratching herself that evening so I am convinced the room had fleas. (2) The carpet and bathroom were a bit tired but I did feel the bathroom was clean.
Overall, it was a pleasant overnight stop.
Solo traveller, room clean shower lovely and hot, quiet site.
Convenient
Good stop off location. Budget hotel . Room very spacious and reception had little extras in case you forgot plus a microwave. Dog friendly. Super friendly reception team
Do not stay here unless you’re absolutely desperate and your only other option is your car to sleep in!
I suppose you get what you pay for… and was last minute booking due to family illness/emergency.
Sat nav takes you to dead end country road with no authorisation sign so access not clear unless on m5. The 1st room we were given room 8, smelled of wet dog, stuffy, dusty, worn, room got darker after putting the flicking light on and made it feel like you were in a 1980s horror film, and then pulled back duvet to find 3 fleas and a bed bug in the bed . Moved to 2nd room 111, smelled better and no bugs but black mold in bathroom, bathroom sink didn’t drain, bed uncomfortable and in the morning light when curtains opened you could see stained carpet and what looked to be dried sick on one side of the bed divan and skirting board. Had to keep our shoes on the whole time we were there. Our stay and experience left us feeling sick and dirty. After a long and exhausting day of travel and in A&E it was not what we wanted to check in to.
Only positive was the friendly apologetic gentleman on reception at 10pm when we checked in.
