Stayed here, perfect hotel. No noise on the motorway. Room was big and spacious. And was very comfy bed.
Staff at the front desk were genuinely friendly and helpful – quick check-in, answered all my questions about local spots, and even recommended a nearby diner for breakfast (solid tip!). Free parking was a big plus, and the lot felt safe and well-lit.
Julie at reception extremely helpful! Nice to be Nice!
I had one of the best nights’ sleep here. The room was clean and very quiet. The rooms are very dated could use a little TLC — but it had everything we needed. Fresh sheets and towels, plus tea and coffee provided.
The staff were friendly, and the breakfast at £6.50 was a great deal. Parking was free when booking online, which was a bonus.
Overall, excellent value for money — you really can’t beat it.
Upon arriving to when we left the staff were always happy and friendly. The place was always clean and tidy. We were travelling up for a concert and decided to stay and we are glad we did.
NOT RECOMMENDED !!!
Poor service received from staff
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY !!!
We wasted 4 hours travelling
IT WAS REALLY BAD !!!
We checked in early hours so advantage of 24 hour desk service, it was clean and cheap for a few hours sleep before continuing our journey.
My daughter and I had an overnight stay here on my way to a family wedding...
We had a very long journey from Cornwall and we're looking forward to a hot shower and comfy bed... both of which we had.
The room was spacious, VERY clean and cosy.
The bathroom was spotless.
The bed was very comfortable and the white linen was crisp.
We had a very warm, comfortable night and felt refreshed for the rest of our journey the next day.
Have stayed here before and will definitely stay again.
Well done to all the staff...
Clean an Tidy
Room needed a little tlc but it was nice and comfortable, would certainly stay here again, very suitable for travelling down from Glasgow. The services due a great breafast ....
Great overnight stop on my way to Scotland, next the motorway but also access to the local roads as well. Great scenery nearby, quiet location. Just make sure you book direct to get free parking, i did book direct but still had pay because my confirmation didn't show the website details. The receptionist just wasn't very friendly or welcoming. Over a great hotel and I will use it in the future.
Lovely hotel with amazing Views!
Situated just off the M74 so ideal for travelling up north and breaking up the journey to north if Scotland
Clean rooms and places to eat on the same site
Staff welcoming and friendly
We booked two (separate) nights here with Days Inn Abington (myself and my mother) mother is elderly and I have disabilities so requested a twin room, on arrival we were directed to a family room (one double and one single trundle guest bed), room was basic, bathroom not particularly clean, only one plug socket in bedroom nowhere near the beds to charge multiple devices (some needed for medical purposes) , the single bed turned out to be really uncomfortable so on our outbound trip we requested an alternative room at reception on departure, the receptionist was really helpful said the room we wanted was available and she made a note on our return journey to reserve that room, however on our return journey we were told the room and all those similar were occupied and we were given a similar room to the one we had had previously, disappointing first stay but having secured an acceptable room after lengthy conversation for our return trip to be told that was not available on arrival has put us off staying with Days Inn again
I’m in my 70s and travel with my Hearing assistance dog. I undertake a long journey to and from the Outer Hebrides where I have relatives several times a year. Days Inn at Abington on the M74 is ideally located for my overnight stay.
I like the fast efficient booking in and the helpful staff.
Pet friendly , spacious , clean room! Quiet area👍
Easy to book online. We had a lovely ground floor room with plenty of room for our dog. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful both evening and morning. The food available was quite good considering it was a services so no complaints at all. A lovely dog walking area too which was a bonus for us. Parking was ok as there was lots of it and it was fee for us as we had booked a room at the hotel. No noise from the motorway when in the room either.
All in all a lovely stay on our way up further north, thank you.
Really helpful staff, especially the girl with red/black hair, and GREAT beds.
Easy to access and book online, great price.
Quiet and comfortable stay.
Staff and room at the hotel very good. We had booked breakfast in advance too as only staying one night.
When we went for breakfast with voucher as prepaid, it was very disappointing compared to Travelodge breakfasts. There was only a full English on offer and when we gave in the voucher, we were told it did not cover for a full English. Instead we were given one bacon, one sausage, beans, mushrooms, a fried egg and mug of coffee. It was just adequate. Cooked ok but very underwhelming.
