Dirty, dead roaches , previous trash had not been emptied , linens not replenished, gap under doors. Have stayed at Days Inn in several states and this was the worst

The night staff worker on 4th of July night was rude. Abrupt and short when I was attempting to ask him about where to park due to people parking at the hotel who was not currently staying there this weekend
Location is great simply because the beach is right behind the hotel, Breakfast was wonderful, wish there was more options. The rooms were very spacious.
Our bathroom shower didn’t work and we requested maintenance and no one came. The floors were extremely dirty that we had to throw away socks (afterwards we used shoes in the rooms) Elevator barely worked when we tried to use it. The day before check out I filled out a form online saying that we will be checking out at 11 (which is check out time) and we went out for breakfast and when we came backfrom breakfast at 10:25am our groceries that we left in the fridge were in trash bags along with both of my kids milk bottles.

There was nothing to like. Housekeepers apparently don’t clean because it looked like blood on the sheets. Pillow cases were black. The lady at the front made it seem like we were lying. I didn’t like nothing not even the outside.
My family did not stay. We canceled our reservation because the rooms were absolutely disgusting. It was false advertising online the rooms look nothing like the pictures. The whole hotel needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. I can’t believe they allow people to stay there.

Dear Booking.com Leadership Team,
I am writing to formally escalate a serious issue regarding my recent reservation made through your platform. I was charged a cancellation fee after being forced to leave a hotel room due to unacceptable and unsanitary conditions — including visible mold and overall filth — which posed a clear health risk and made the room uninhabitable.
When I brought this issue to the hotel’s attention, they refused to take action or waive the cancellation fee. I contacted your customer service team, but I was told the fee still stands, despite the clear failure of the hotel to provide safe and clean accommodations as advertised.
I am requesting Booking.com to:
Immediately reverse the cancellation fee, and
Investigate the condition of this property, as it may violate your safety and quality standards.
I have photographic evidence of the room’s condition and am happy to provide it upon request. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to dispute the charge with my credit card company, file complaints with the health department, and share this experience publicly.
I trust Booking.com values the safety and satisfaction of its customers and will act accordingly.

Dirty room, stingy with toilet paper might as well bring your own in you have a family with you. Staff is okay I wouldn’t say super friendly or anything
