Super vue sur les chutes
Pros:

Du 12 ème étage super vue sur les chutes canadiennes et américaines. Moins de 10 min à pied des chutes.
Chambre spacieuse, douche énorme.

Cons:

Needed new mattress. Mattress was very bad one side had a large indented area. Elevators would open doors not complete level with floor.My boyfriend triped getting out of elevator. I also saw others trip.

The worst part was the rude staff. I had a schedule to keep and she could not be bothered to help me hurry things along during the checkout process. They were in general not very helpful.
I asked for a toothbrush and toothpaste to the room and it never showed up to my room.

The worst part was when they needed to do a walk through to give me my debit deposit back- I I was prepared for the walk through but they made me wait half an hour in the lobby to do it. I even offered to give them my credit card instead at this point so that we could refund my debit, take my credit card number and skip the walk through (I didn’t have it on me when I checked in) -
This would have effectively made my situation the same as every other guest with a credit card and eliminated the need for a walk through- but because it would have taken a little bit of paperwork The rude staff refused to do this and insisted I wait and that she would call me when she was ready…

I say and waited patiently - she ignored me the whole time- and finally when I got up to say I was leaving she said “oh we can do the refund now”.

Zero respect for guests time and would not lift a finger to be helpful. Will not return sheerly because of this woman.

Great view of the falls

Cons:

The hotel obviously doesn’t follow AODA standards as I was forced to upgrade my room and spend more money on a king suite just so that I had enough room to get my wheelchair in and out of the bathroom. I didn’t need a full king suite with a jacuzzi (that we didn’t even end up using) I just needed space to use the bathroom like any other guest - I should have been able to do that in a regular standard room instead of having to pay more money or cancel my reservation altogether and look elsewhere! Do better Oakes Hotel - AODA guidelines are not “suggestions” they’re the law!

Pros:

Great restaurant next door which was helpful since there was as no continental breakfast, but we really appreciated the free coffee and free tea any time during our stay. Parking was a lot per night ($50) but every one of them in the area was as 40/50 as well. We did find some about 10-15 minutes away that were 5$ instead, but we ended up just waking everywhere we needed to go since the hotel was perfectly located to our needs.

Not a very practical location when you want to enjoy Niagara Falls amenities in overall.

It was packed. Not all elevators are working. Long wait to go up/down from 12th floor. Have to use the stairs from 12floor to go down even due to knee problem. Onsite parking is charging too much.

Pros:

I liked how the elevators had the big windows, that was cool, staff was really great, very friendly

Cons:

The pool was disgusting, there were used towels everywhere, the hottub water was very dirty. The blinds in the room didn't close all the way, the mattress sheet didn't fit the bed, only covering 3/4 of the mattress. Parking was $50 which is crazy, I have never had to pay for parking at a niagara falls hotel, and $50 for OUTSIDE parking!!!! Thats crazy! It was an ok hotel but I definitely wont be going back, and will probably tell people to stay away from it

Overall very disappointed!

Cons:

Service on arrival not good.
No cleaning service not good.
View of fall not really as on 2nd floor, staff made it out that because we paid for view of falls we could go to 14th floor, but really anyone can go!
Tub didn't drain in shower.
Hot tub spit out someone else's hair clump so drained it and cleaned it and refined.

Overall very disappointed in the stayed this time!
Will most likely not be back and will let others know as well.
