Lovely stay
Pros:

The room was beautiful and great to have a separate bath and shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful including at the cock and hoop.

Cons:

The air con was very noisy and I couldn't use it at night which meant the room was quite hot. Also the shower base filled up quite quickly with water and I didn't have time to wash my hair before it would overflow.

Lovely location, felt a bit special despite oldish decor
Pros:

Really lovely location, good facilities, food delivered to room, nice staff, good bathroom and room.

Cons:

The hotel is good, but I didn't rebook there so maybe did not fall in love with it. The decor is a bit dated in the general hotel, bu generally it was nice.

Pros:

Cons:

My room was like a sauna, far too hot. I only got 3 hours sleep. My toilet flush jammed in the night which meant it continued to flush itself. I had to be robust with the handle to sort it. The bathroom light switch was very stiff, I had to use considerable force to switch it on off
