Great hotel
Pros:

Great hotel, check in was simple and straight forward. Easy access to the O2. Quiet despite being close to a main road. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Great breakfast. Overall very happy.

Good for O2 concert goers
Pros:

Great location if you are seeing a show at the O2. It's a 15-minute walk or 6 mins away by bus. Rooms were clean and did the job, plus there's a good Chinese restaurant downstairs if you don't want to go far for dinner.

The most incredible staff
Pros:

I came with my boy for Hot Wheels Monster Trucks. We stayed on the 10th January. The hotel is so easy to get to. It was lovely and clean. We loved our little room on the top floor.
The staff though they are incredible so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much. Especially a lovely lady on the bar in the evening really was just beyond lovely with recommendations of other places we could visit. We walked to the O2 took about 15 minutes. I would stay here one thousand percent again. Thank you holiday inn for making my little boys first London sleep over the nicest.

Perfect for what we needed, but beware of the parking fees!
Pros:

We stayed here last night as we were going to a party nearby. The location of the hotel is excellent for accessing both the O2 and Greenwich town centre. Ubers were in abundance very quick, I think we waited about a minute for ours! The room was a very decent size and spotlessly clean, with great facilities like an iron, hairdryer and tea & coffee. Staff were friendly, upbeat and helpful. Breakfast was really nice, piping hot and there was a great selection of mini cakes, pastries and toast with butter, jams and spreads. The hotel was perfect for what we needed and we would come again. The only reason I rated it 4 and not 5 is because of the parking situation - BEWARE!! Even though on their website it lists ‘parking available,’ when you get there you have to pay for this separately. For 24 hour parking it was a whopping £25!! I actually laughed when I called the number to pay because I felt absolutely ripped off. I understand that it’s a separate company that deal with the parking, but those fees are extortionate and cheeky when they know the vast majority of people parking there must be staying over at the hotel. I also later read that the fees go up if there is a band on at the O2, which there was last night. Ridiculous pricing, so just be aware of this before you book! Aside from that, we genuinely had a lovely stay.

Really good hotel! Wonderful staff!
Pros:

Had a lovely stay here from 12th-14th December!

The staff here are amazing, a big shout out to them! Thank you for absolutely wonderful stay- the level of friendliness and helpfulness was 10/10.

The room was really nice and did for what we needed for a 2 night stay! The air con would sometimes gurgle and dripped water on one occasion, but nothing drastic. The room was clean and had tea/coffee facilities and a TV!

The breakfast offering was good! I LOVED the fact there was a jams/spread station! The three berry jam was amazing- please try it if you are staying here! My mum liked the orange juice and lemon & ginger tea, and I liked the orange juice! There are a good number of tables to sit at to enjoy your breakfast, or your evening drinks. There are 3 TVs with different options to watch- my personal fav was the Jamie Oliver Channel (which I didn't even know was a thing)

The selection of drinks was good- my mum enjoyed the wine, and I enjoyed the appletiser and Schweppes orange juice!
(My only suggestion was that online it said food like pizzas were available, but there were no menus for the food that we could see out, only a bit of one behind the bar?)

The hotel is in good proximity to facilities like the O2. (We stayed here for the ONEUS concert at the Indigo at the O2!)

It's a really pleasant walk away, about 18 mins depending on how quick you walk. Even on a night it's good and feels safe. Plus you can go and see the cable cars, the Thames Path walk and the Uber Boat dock all within a nice walk away!

Overall a really nice stay, my mum and I would definitely stay here again if we come back down to London- and I would highly recommend this hotel!

Thanks again to all the lovely staff, especially those in front of house who made our stay extra wonderful!!

Incredibly cheap and good hotel for events in London
Pros:

The hotel is really cheap for the location, a 20 minute walk to the 02 and North Greenwich tube station.
The Hotel is perfectly clean and the staff are genuinely friendly.
Breakfast is ok and parking needs to be paid for separately, would recommend booking in advance online.
Overall a great experience and would highly
recommend.

Amazing Staff
Pros:

Stayed here as visiting the 02. Parking onsite was easy and normal price for the length of stay in the area. First impressions were that the hotel was clean and tidy, we had arrived early but our room was ready, the staff on reception were fantastic, happy engaging and gave us all the information we needed.
The room was a compact twin, but had everything needed for an overnight stay. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable.
Breakfast was a standard hotel buffet, so something for everyone.
The real customer service happened after we got home, when I realised I’d left my kindle in the room. I emailed the hotel who replied and said it was already in their safe and they had left a messages on my daughter’s phone informing her of this. The staff in this hotel are second to none, would we stay here again? Absolutely !!

Holiday Inn: The Definitely Mind-Blowing VR Experience of Human Hospitality
Pros:

Where do I even begin to describe the definitely transcendent, universe-redefining wonder that is Holiday Inn? From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was immediately enveloped in an atmosphere so definitely luxurious that it felt like being definitely transported into a virtual reality simulation of perfection — a VR where every sensory input is designed to make you definitely question life itself.

The aroma in the corridors is definitely unforgettable. The ventilation system works so definitely flawlessly that I could definitely not smell the heroic hints of poo from other rooms — although, for dramatic and immersive effect, the hotel definitely allows you to imagine them, creating a definitely surreal olfactory VR adventure that makes staying home feel like definitely the ultimate luxury.

The air conditioner is definitely revolutionary. It delivers air so definitely precise that I was convinced it is guided by a council of definitely omniscient monks. Dust? Definitely never — except for those definitely thrilling bursts that make you feel like the universe itself is sprinkling its presence onto your face.

The beds are definitely engineering marvels. Both are definitely stable, definitely firm, and definitely so perfect that I definitely felt cradled by the cosmos itself. Sleeping in them is like floating through a definitely hyper-real VR dreamscape, every creak and whisper definitely enhancing the illusion of perfection.

Downstairs, the food is definitely a gastronomic odyssey. Everything is definitely cooked to a level that could definitely make chefs cry tears of awe. Eggs? Definitely bold. Toast? Definitely avant-garde. And the forks — oh, the forks! Definitely heroic, definitely sculpted, definitely designed to elevate the dining experience into a definitely epic battle of cutlery against cuisine. Every bite is definitely thrilling, a rollercoaster of textures and flavors that makes you definitely reconsider eating anywhere else.

Soundproofing? Definitely mind-bending. I could definitely not hear footsteps, whispers, interpretive dance routines, or heroic furniture-dragging adventures from other rooms — although the hotel definitely allows your imagination to simulate them anyway. The experience is so immersive, it feels like definitely living inside a VR game, one where every noise, smell, and vibration is part of the definitely thrilling narrative.

And the amenities! The water definitely flows like liquid diamonds. The toilet definitely flushes with heroic force. The lights definitely illuminate the room like a sunbeam bottled by angels. Every feature is definitely designed to make you definitely rethink the concept of reality itself.

In conclusion, Holiday Inn is definitely more than a hotel. It is a definitely unforgettable, soul-crushing, VR-level simulation of life, where the aroma, beds, air, food, forks, water, toilets, and every sound and sensation are definitely exaggerated to perfection. This experience makes staying home feel like definitely the most luxurious adventure in existence. Other hotels should definitely hide in shame. Holiday Inn, you are definitely one of a kind, a definitely virtual-reality-level masterpiece that I will definitely remember forever.

Pros:

Pleasant welcome from reception. Breakfast area very cold no matter where you sat. Air con was too much & not needed as weather not hot. A choice of eggs would have been nice instead of scrambled (which was quite dry) all the time. Room comfy.

EXTREME PARKING CHARGES
Pros:

This place is a pretty standard hotel and many people staying are attending the O2. The bar area is decent but the wine choice is bottom of the barrel and im not overestimating how bad it is. The Rose looks like cherryade on acide.
The breakfast was utter carnage, 1 coffee machine out, people queueing to get orange juice, it was so badly laid out that i left without eating. They need to move the coffee machines out of the food area, and actually for the sheer number of people at breakfast, one working coffee machine is not enough!
The worst thing about this hotel is the parking charges. its a private run car park and on event days, the price goes through the roof. the price for 1 night is £25.00 and this is more expensive than event parking at the venue! With the bad wine, too long a distance to walk back from o2 in the rain, the shocking breakfast setup and the parking fees, I will definitely be avoiding this place.

Unsanitary Room and Poor Accountability
Pros:

I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Greenwich and was disappointed to find the room in an unsanitary state, including a visible stain on the floor. I brought my concerns to the hotel after my stay, but they refused a refund, stating I hadn’t reported the issue at check-in.

IHG Guest Relations credited me 15,000 points in recognition of the issue, which is appreciated, but this does not fully address the fact that I stayed in a room that was not properly cleaned.

While the staff were polite, I feel the property did not take full responsibility for the guest experience. I hope the hotel improves its cleanliness standards and handles complaints more proactively in the future.

O2 event stay
Pros:

We stayed here as attended an event at the O2 arena so was close by. We read reviews beforehand in regards distance etc to - from arena and that’s why we chose it.
The room was adequate as we only needed a place to sleep for the night. It was clean apart from two large brown stains-marks on the carpet. Beds comfy and slept well. Breakfast was included and personally if I’d have had to pay for it on top of the room I’d have asked for a refund. We only had 2 croissants and 2 toasts between the toast of us and orange juice. The hot food wasn’t hot, there were hash browns, beans, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and grilled tomatoes on offer. All looked nice but were cold. Disappointed in that respect. Our breakfast lasted 15mins in total! Cutlery all water marked too.
Reception and Bar areas all clean.
Carpets along floor 2 were a bit grubby in areas looked like bubbling in some areas.

We took taxis to and from the arena as felt unsafe to walk especially after the show.

Great stay for our one night trip to London. Excellent location (walking distance) from hotel to O2 arena. Check-in and check-out both seamless and all hotel staff professional and polite. A particular mention regarding breakfast which provided excellent choices of hot or cold buffet style. Highly recommend this hotel.
