Simple clean and value for money

Reliable and convenient stay
Had a very good stay at the Holiday Inn Express Manchester East. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything you need for a straightforward overnight or short break. Free WiFi worked well and the bed was decent.
The free breakfast was a highlight – good selection and plenty of it. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Free on-site parking is a big plus, and the location works well if you’re driving (easy access to the M60) or heading to events around east Manchester.
Staff were very welcoming and friendly, room was clean and comfortable. It was very refreshing to see smiling faces at the check in desk and wait staff and felt it was very genuine.
Food was great...staff even let us take our meals to the room to enjoy.
A fan was popped in the room which was welcomed due to it being so hot.
Everyone was helpful and we slept like a dream! We got what it said on the tin (and more) and for that we are very happy!

Had a lovely two-night stay with my family. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was plentiful, with a good variety. It was easy to catch a bus into Manchester city centre, and having a McDonald’s nearby was convenient for a quick meal. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and good value for money. We would happily stay here again.

This was a return trip for an annual Team event. All as expected but being fussy, I'd like a bit of an improvement in the general decor and cleanliness in the public areas. The bathrooms are a bit dated (heavily trafficked I guess).
Breakfast is always busy but staff are fantastic, friendly and helpful.
Cannot really fault this place for the purpose of my visit.
Given the purpose of the hotel and it's location, I wouldn't be so mean as to criticise it in any way.
Kudos to all the staff for making it operate so smoothly.
Courteous Staff, cleanliness
Nothing as such but only thing I didn’t like was the wash basin had some permanent marks which seems like wear and tear marks. I think that was only thing I didn’t like otherwise everything was perfect.

Outstanding accommodation with lots of thoughtful extras such as high quality bathroom products, a good hairdryer and an iron. The room was big and spotless too. I really appreciated the friendly welcome when I arrived.
