A very pleasant and welcoming stay with great staff and thoughtful touches.
Pros:

The hotel has a beautiful setting with attractive landscaping, and it felt welcoming from the moment we approached. The staff were professional, friendly, and always smiling with a great attitude. We especially liked the complimentary popcorn and board/card games, which were a nice and unexpected touch that we haven’t seen at other Holiday Inn Express locations.

Cons:

Very little to dislike overall. The breakfast window felt a bit short at only three hours, and a four-hour window would be more convenient. Housekeeping also entered before 11 a.m. thinking we had already checked out, which was a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, we had a very good experience with no significant complaints.

Pros:

Good location (safe, quiet). Good buffet-style breakfasts. Modern and clean.

Cons:

My only complaint - no typical coffee machine in the room. I had to use the big coffee machine in the lobby, instead. Not sure whether it was intentional or by mistake (I was lazy to discuss it with the reception).
