Holiday Inn Express & Suites DFW - Grapevine by IHG

We had a late check in or else we wouldn’t have slept here. This place needs a complete renovation, update and deep deep clean. The humidity level in the room was dank and wet and smelled and the AC unit wasn’t able to pump air to the other side of the room. The shower ceiling was gross. The carpet was even worse. Gross gross gross.

Our room was clean, the breakfast was good and the staff was great.

Carpets are sticky, breakfast was gross, old re heated sausage. Elevators floors never mopped.

The bathtub had a drainage issue. I took a shower when I arrived, and tub still had water in it 3 hours later

I like this hotel. Nothing to brag about, but nothing to complain about either.

I was only there for a very short time and left early in the morning. I have no complaints and would stay here again.

The hotel support staffs were the best I ever seen. My bed and room was laid and cleaned everyday. My towels were replaced for each day I stayed. Worth my money and I’ll sure be coming back

We stay here every year for a local festival and have always had a great stay, definately recommend. My only reason for not 5 star is the lady at the front desk... no personality, no smile, and very short with answers to questions.

This worked great for a one night stay for an early flight. The shuttle was efficient and friendly. Check in was easy. Elevator to rooms. The neighbors above me did bring their brick shoes but luckily they settled quickly. Could not hear talking or TV's from rooms next to me. Coffee available for early departure. Overall clean and a nice stay.

Hotel floors were dirty throughout. The entire hotel smelled like marijuana. The room was very dirty. So much dirt and dust around the edges of the room. The A/C would not cool the room.

My mattress in my room (205) was in horrible condition and was extremely squeaky. In addition the box board was in poor condition. I informed the staff it was an embarrassment on Holiday Inn to assigned the room to someone. I was informed it’s and older property and there are mattress in that condition. I asked multiple times for someone to come up and see for themselves, but no one never came up. I was offer a different time but was told it could be in the same condition. I informed the Team on Saturday and requested to come up and take a look, no one came and again informed it may or may not be there same. After several conversations in passing I was given another room which was better. Although due to a busy schedule with family I wasn’t in the room only a few hours as we checked out on Sunday at 3:30am. In addition, I was advised to take the issue up with Expedia since it was booked through a 3rd party.

Windowblunds - too much light in the room

Clean rooms and common areas. Friendly staff and 24/7 snacks. Quiet rooms even though so close to other hotels and restaurants. Wish breakfast started earlier - not available for early flights.
