Pros:

2.5 rounded up to 3 because this hotel is about average... super thin walls so you hear everything. Breakfast was just 'ok' and there is only a single table that seats more than 2 people, and it was taken up by a staff member who was working on her computer. So our family of 6 was split up amongst tables as they emptied out. The bed was actually pretty comfortable, and I appreciated the large bathroom. Right after we arrived and put our stuff in our room, the locking mechanism (the one that flips up from the inside to stop the door from opening) somehow engaged when we closed our door so we were locked out. The front desk attendant couldn't find the tool to unlock it. Luckily another guest was able to use a wire hanger to get us back in. It was an ok night...nothing to necessarily draw us back, but nothing to prevent us from staying again if we were in need.

Special shoutout to Calvin in the breakfast area... super friendly and helpful, and working very hard to keep things tidy and well stocked! Thanks for making breakfast pleasant!

Pros:

The friendliness of staff.

Cons:

The hotel room was not cleaned well and forget about any recent deep clean. Notably, a pillow had blood on it, a blanket smelled like someone's booty, there was dirt/crumbs in the pull out couch, and there was even dirt behind the toilet paper roll. We had to book a king with a pull out couch due to availability. They were aware it was a family of 4, yet nothing was ready in the room for a family of 4, lack of pillows, blankets, and towels. Additionally, we booked the hotel because it had a pool and hot tub. Little did we know, the pool area was completely closed. By our third day, they did reopen the pool, but it was not super clean. There was hair and particles floating around, the chlorine was over the top, and the hot tub was filled in. I will note, the hall garbage remained completely filled the entire time we were there too, even though housekeeping was "active." I will note the front desk staff and kitchen staff were incredibly nice and tried to be accommodating. I tried not to complain too much because I didn't want to appear to be a "karen" but it's an understatement that housekeeping really needs to be evaluated and the website needs to be updated to list no hot tub and advise people when the pool intends on being closed.

Pros:

The cleanliness of the room and the view.

Cons:

There was no Hot tub. The drawer handle to one of the drawers was broken. The light by the beds was flickering. We had to go downstairs to get the pull out bedding. The elevator was down so we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs with multiple kids.

The pool was closed, and this is one of the reasons we chose this hotel was to use the pool. If the pool is closed, it should be disclosed when you are booking. We would have booked somewhere else had we known.
