Let down by the ACU in the room this time, otherwise, has always been our favourite in the area.
Pros:

Staff on duty at breakfast friendly and chatty - nice to see !

Cons:

Very unpleasant, musty smell coming from the air conditioning / heating unit - we had to buy an air freshener spray to temporarily get rid of the smell, but it kept coming back (Room 8, ground floor). Clearly something not working correctly there. Forgot to mention it to reception though, as we had other things on our mind. The ACU was also right over the bed, which meant we had to turn it off over night, as it played havoc with our sinuses (and it is noisy when running).

Pros:

Convenient location, as it was an overnight stop. Didn't book a breakfast, but all looked o.k if we'd wanted it. Nearby pub/restaurant on same site, nothing fancy, but it did the job for an evening meal.

Great stay at holiday Inn
Pros:

Clean room and hotel, very attentive staff comfortable room. Would stay again.

Cons:

Location is a wee bit out of town. But not too far.

Pros:

Bedroom and bed perfect

Cons:

Breakfast.got there at 9am today..no sugar
Had to ask for bread
Compot empty
Bacon.sausages gone
Barm cakes no fresh.
Air con not working.room was cold..but reception did bring radiator promptly when asked..reception did know this..so why give the room out.

I know this wont happen again..as we stay here a good few times per year.
No butter.waiting on a delivery

Pros:

Cons:

Everything v small print.
The instructions to control the heating. They were really badly lit.
Numbering of the rooms and placing of the numbers made them difficult to find at first.
