It was ok but it could have been better!! Sanford NC
Pros:

The eggs were runny we didn’t like that. The pancakes were flat n spongy. We would have preferred waffles. We’ve had these at other hotels and they were much better. And we don’t like bell peppers or onions in our potatoes.

Cons:

We were very disappointed that it was mid summer and your pool was closed. When we go on vacation we expect to be able to enjoy swimming in the pool and to be able to get into the hot tub but neither one was available we felt robbed!!

Recommend.
Pros:

AC Worked. King size bed good on back.
Excellent breakfast in both choices, and healthy fresh fruit options. Real eggs.

Breakfast was the best part of our stay
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent, it was the highlight of our stay.

Cons:

Alot of signs were taped to walls, they need to be in nice frames if you think that's important information that needs to be posted. Elevator buttons were dirty around the edges. The floor mat in the entrance was ratty. The room was not ready for occupancy when we arrived, the main desk person was not very helpful he needs customer service training. I had to talk to the house keeper to direct her to our room to start cleaning. The air-conditioning system cover was taped in place, plus it was very noisy.

Holiday dropped the ball on my stay. You don’t want me to add pictures.
Pros:

Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Consider having bacon with biscuits and breakfast.

Cons:

I requested a ground floor, email that I recieved said my request was accepted. The 1st room was unacceptable. As soon as I opened the door I could smell cigarette smoke. I close the door and headed to the front desk. The second room I could not get the door to open. Went back to front desk and they made a new key. Second key didn’t work and the front desk clerk came to open it. After 2-4 attempts it finally opened. Needless to say I had to deal with that for three days. AC wouldn’t not cool the room, it needs to be serviced. The light switch in the room wouldn’t turn the light on, most likely a burnt out bulb. SMH, all of this is unacceptable especially from a Holiday Inn.
