Close to where i needed to be. Really helpful staff who gave out some great local knowledge
The way they served up breakfast. They had scrambled egg in the same pot as hash browns. although there was a divider in the pot, there was egg over the hash browns meaning my son who has an egg allergy was unable to eat them. A smaller separate serving pot would be much better.

It's my fault for not checking during booking.
Reception on arrival was welcoming, and all staff throughout the hotel were very nice and helpful.
Room was comfortable , clean and checked every day, adding fresh towels, making beds and bins emptied.
For me, it was just missing a comfortable sitting/ communal area, other than the dining room, to have a drink , read, chat to other guests.
I do appreciate though that the space downstairs around reception would make that difficult.
The staff were very kind and helpful during our stay. We had a great size bedroom with good working wifi. A great selection of options with the buffet breakfast in the morning.
