Room was large, Breakfast choice was pertect.
Very friendly staff in the morning
We were in a disabled room and we are not disabled , the bathroom felt like I was in a hospital.
Annoying green glowing light.
Could here the tvs from rooms either side.

TV was a pain in the arse to find channels.
Bed was soft and dipped in the middle- poor sleep as a result
Easy check in was in the York area for a business meeting and it was an ideal place to stay .
Josh on reception on our arrival was fab welcoming and super friendly .
Also the manager who we met at breakfast was very bright and bubbly which was great .
The customer service at the hotel was brilliant .

The food in the Toby carvery next door was good
It’s some 3 miles not 2 as described to city centre, one of the pillows was filthy, the walls are paper thin so you could hear conversations, not sure if being put in a disabled room with adjoining doors was the cause .
Breakfast was fine. The serving staff were friendly.
The hotel does not have a lift which would have been useful to know about. The receptionist was surly when we asked for some milk to replace the appalling HRT liquid.
Bed very nice comfortable
Particularly liked the staff. They were magnificent.
Also location ideal for the purpose of our visit.
The noise levels of other guests and the scrapping of dining room chairs on floor from 6.30 onwards. We were in the room next to the restaurant.
Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good plenty of food and always hot. Staff were very friendly
