Very disappointing not even worthy of a sorry from the off manager

Dirty spot on pillow looked like blood and was about 2 inches in diameter!! Told the front desk and she took the pillow to the manager who by the way didn’t even get up from her office chair to address this health department issue. Said she will talk to the staff ( via the receptionist).
Also small cockroach in the bath room. Ruined the whole day!!! Nasty

The hotel accommodated us by allowing us to check in early as we had a festival to go to.

Very, very, very disappointed in the Marriott hotel chain and I am/was a diehard member.
Pros:

I would not recommend going to this hotel. Unfortunately, it is the only hotel available in the city of Sebastopol, California.

Cons:

The staff. One of the staff members told a man what room I was in. She also called my room several times in the middle of the night while I was sleeping and told me that this man wanted to see me. Then he came and banged on my door. I filed a complaint, but never heard back from the Marriott hotel's main office.

This was my second stay and I definitely will return when events in the area bring me to town.
Pros:

The staff were all more than friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make coffee for the lobby after hours. The breakfast was hot and delicious with more than enough to choose from. The facility was super clean and comfortable. The lobby was welcoming and the fireplace was a nice treat. It was too cold for me to swim but the pool was sparkling clean and the pool patio was set up for guests. Early check-in was very much appreciated!
Huge television in room was appreciated for watching the football game. Microwave and fridge were convenient as well.

Cons:

My room didn't have a view but I did not ask for one. I did ask for early check-in which the receptionist was able to accommodate my request. A big plus so the view did not matter to me, and the proximity to my parking place was very close to my room. Convenient.
The furniture in the room was a little tired, but the bed was very comfortable and made with comfortable sheets and blankets.
