Great staff, great value, excellent hotel!
Pros:

If anything our stay was even better than our visit last year. All the staff we encountered were very helpful, professional and kind, the rooms are quiet with very comfortable beds and much better than might be expected from a ‘budget’ hotel. Sparkling clean throughout and free parking right outside. The ‘bottomless breakfast’ is excellent and, the hotel being dog friendly they even offered andboxed one up for our cockapoo! Despite being immediately off an M6 junction there is no motorway noise. This hotel is now always our default option when visiting the north!

First room had a smelly, wet patch on the floor. The second room had a dirty tea making area.

Great location. Shame about the room issues!

Good location. Good breakfast for the £. Some friendly staff

Cons:

Sofa bed put out & wasn’t made up for when we got there (10pm), mattress on the sofa bed needs to be looked at as quite uncomfortable, found a grasshopper in the sink! And there was a pen on the bedroom floor (which would indicate there was no last minute check of the room done)
