It was gorgeous. We had a beautiful large room with a view. The famed afternoon tea was great, as was the breakfast room experience. All the staff were cheery and helpful.
What’s not to like?
so so bad
service, not enough basic need like water botle , no comb, no toothbrush, no aomthing else....
The View .
A sadly underwhelming experience . Way above what we can usually afford for a hotel but it was our wedding day so we thought we'd splash out . They sent me an email a week before offering an upgrade but on arrival we didn't get this . Room was half the size we were expecting. The coffee in the room was less than you'd expect in the average motel , & we didn't even get a proper spoon , we now jokingly call a Wooden Stirrer " an Empress Spoon . "
Didn't even have bedside chargers on both sides which should be fairly standard these days .
The view was incredible and really worth asking for the harbour view. The room itself was large, comfortable, and quiet.
I never have much to say on what I didn't like, but technically the bathroom did feel a little small. I was fine, but my husband did comment that it was snug.
the room was great with a view of the port and the sunset. we upgraded to gold status and it did not disappoint.
It’s a beautiful old hotel. The location is tremendous. The Empress is the heart of Victoria.
The lobby check in is awkward
To the elevators. If you’re on the far south side you have to cross the entire upper level to get to a second set of elevators to get to the main lobby.
It’s an old hotel so likely that is the issue.
The waiter in the tea room was amazing, the property is beautiful and I have choose to stay here many times over the last 40 years.
This last visit was the first time we were put in a broom closet to sleep. You could hardly move in the room, very small
早餐及下午茶
住房近conference Centre,時常聽到搬運桌椅聲音,很嘈雜,像行雷。風筒太舊。
