Grand hotel, excellent restaurant (food and service outstanding) , wonderful front office staff (Diana is possibly the most professional front reception person i have ever encountered), incredibly comfortable bed and pillows, spacious room.
The only thing I found a bit limiting was the bathroom which was unusually small for such a large room but this is a minor wrinkle.
Room, location.
Nothing
Customer service
Great location and a lovely hotel.
Emplacement très bien. Personnel sympathique.
Pas de restaurant si ce n’est le bar ultra bruyant. C’est une calamité car il n’y a que des boutiques de luxe et pas un restaurant.
Clean and accommodating staff.
Parking is cumbersome and costs 75 dollars per day. Although it’s a historic building all of the character has been renovated out of it. The pool is partially under renovation so there is no hot tub. They have turned the hot tub into a putting range. Room had no view yet we were on the 10th floor.
I like the location and most of the staff were friendly
Mould in bathroom made me dizzy and complained about it they gave me free breakfast from day before . For $800 not impressed health standards failed made me sick not be back
Building was beautiful. Guest services were great. Location was great.
The pool was a little cold and crusty. For how beautiful the lobby was the rooms were just okay.
Location! The atmosphere and service in the Fairmont Gold lounge
Very poor room : poorly laid out, cramped, chipped paint , smelly shower drain, and a mirror that should have been replaced decades ago.
Great location. Quiet inside. Staff were wonderful.
Old furniture in most places and pretty beat up. Bed was not great. Food was okay. Pool a gym was not great. Pool area seemed to be falling apart. For a “higher” end hotel it felt a little underwhelming for the price of a suite.
Excellent location: right in the heart of Vancouver, super close to great restaurants and nice shops. The room was comfortable and spacious, with impeccable cleanliness and furniture. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay.
No negatives come to mind, everything was great
