Nothing. It was fabulous
The property is wonderful and so iconic. The rooms are small (to be expected with the age) but super clean. The bed is very comfortable! The bar and restaurants were all fantastic
There happened to be a wedding one of the nights I was there and my room felt like I was I top of the speakers! I called reception at 11:30pm and was told they’d have the DJ turn down the bass, and she’d call back in in 10 min to see if it was better. It wasn’t, and the party didn’t end until 1am! I have never stayed at a 5 ⭐️ property that didn’t end any type of reception at 11pm. It’s incredibly rude to other guests at the hotel. To be fair, they did comp one night of my stay, but I cannot imagine that I was the only guest that was extremely annoyed!
The infrastructure
The valet parking was a disaster! I wait 45 minutes to have my car ! All the people were in the same problem!
Emplacement top, chambre super, personnel de bon conseil
Seul petit hic - portes double battant de la sdb - pas beaucoup d’intimité
We had such an amazing stay at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac - the hotel itself is truly a sight to see. The architecture is absolutely stunning, and you feel it from the moment you walk in. You’re immediately greeted by the most beautiful scent that lingers throughout the space (we later found out it’s their Fairmont Black room spray, which I can’t wait to purchase!).
The location is perfect - close to so many unique shops and small attractions, which made exploring so easy and fun for our family.
The service really stood out. The bell staff was incredibly kind and helpful, bringing our bags right to the room. Our room itself was very comfortable and thoughtfully stocked with snacks, water, and wine if needed. My husband loved the Nespresso machine, and I was obsessed with the Le Labo shampoo, conditioner, and body gel -such a luxurious touch. Even the bathrooms throughout the hotel had Le Labo Rose 31 lotion, which I loved.
One of the highlights was the evening turndown service. The staff would come in, close the shades, fluff the pillows, and even leave an additional eco-friendly bottle of water -such a thoughtful detail.
We also spent a lot of time at the pool since our youngest loves to swim, and it was hands down the most impeccably clean pool facility we’ve ever experienced. They even had lemon water available for guests, which was such a nice touch.
The attention to detail throughout the entire hotel really made this a standout experience for our family. We would absolutely stay here again
Nothing.
The location, the view, the rooms, the staff.
Everything!!
We even got a free upgrade for our room for our Anniversary. We didn't even ask.
Had delicious drinks in the lounge.
Everything was amazing!
Not that we didn't like it but we had dinner at le Champlain and service was impeccable..view was amazing but we felt it was very overpriced.
They did treat us to a free dessert for our Anniversary 😊
Everything. Location, staff, amenities
We stayed here 3 nights and had a fantastic time. The location is great! Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shopping and old town sites. The 1884 Toboggan Slide was right outside our window too. The hotel itself is filled with history; a museum of sorts on the lower floor. Given its age our room was good too, complete with bathrobes. The valet was very quick with getting our car and the staff were all welcoming and friendly. It certainly lived up to its reputation and I highly recommend it.
Le lieu et la qualité du personnel
La literie, le bruit de vibration de la ventilation. Le tarif d'une bouteille d'eau à plus de 10 CAD et le service en chambre 7 CAD que je trouve exagérés !
