Pros:

There was a fire alarm my last night and it was so professionally handled with as little inconvenience to guests as possible. Afterwards the staff were so accommodating even though the event had to have been stressful for them.

Cons:

There was construction going on in my wing that meant I had to take a circuitous route to my hotel room. Not the hotel's fault.
Also didn't like hearing the elevator gears working all the time right next to my room.

Pros:

L’endroit est très bien situé ( en face union station )
L’intérieur du Fairmont est magnifique et majestueux.
Le service est très bien
Ce n’est pas bruyant considérant qu’il y a du tapis partout dans les passages pour se rendre au chambre

Cons:

La décoration de ma chambre était vieille
Les les doubles semblent plus petit que la moyenne
La salle de bain devrait être rénové
Je suis arrivé la bas et j’ai payé une taxe de 200 $ que je n’était pas au courant totalisant 890 pour une nuit, c’est très cher.
Le déjeuner offre peu de choix et c’est à la carte, c’est très chic.

It was the perfect for 2 friends to reunite and enjoy the amenities and the comfort of the hotel.
Pros:

It was so well located to Union Station for travel ,and excellent to walking to events we were interested in. The hotel itself was beautiful and all the lounges were so comfortable and inviting.The staff were exemplary in friendly and helpful.

Pros:

The front desk were amazing as were housekeeping, the Engineer or HVAC person. Brilliant service! Thank you.

Cons:

Our room was over the subway on the east 11th -289. Not too loud but sound was present. Also plainly not renovated. All worked well but it needs a makeover and definitely a new TV. It worked out for us however and the bartenders at REIGN as well as the Hostess were fabulous. We will return to this lovely, iconic Hotel

Mixed experience, good stay but staffing problems
Pros:

Good location, historic hotel, excellent food

Cons:

Some hot water problems, but was offered discount by hotel in compensation, long lines at reception (appeared to be understaffed). Bellhops disappeared for extended period when I was trying to reclaim my baggage and no one was helpful!!!

Pros:

Great location of the hotel. Just opposite the Union station. Close to aquarium and CN tower. Restaurants were good.

Cons:

it is overpriced for the rooms they offer. Staff didn't offer any services for our anniversary.

Hôtel de luxe historique bien situé
Pros:

L'accueil, le nouveau fonctionnement des ascenseurs, l'ajout du WIFI dans les chambres. Nous y allons chaque année pour aller voir les Blues Jays, car l'emplacement est super avec le stationnement intérieur annexé à l'hôtel.

Cons:

La salle de bain est petite
Il n'y a pas de bureau pour ranger les vêtements.
