Fairfield Inn By Marriott Louisville North

This is my second time staying here for abbey road on the river music festival and I'm always pleased. Refrigerator and microwave are fabulous.

We have stayed here several times while visiting our daughter at UL. It is super cost-effective compared to hotels in Louisville, and we love how walkable the area is. It is a little older, but clean and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

My stay at Fairfield Inn was great, some of the other guests made a big mess in the hallway and outside the side access door. The breakfast was good and I appreciate having a place to stay away from home. Thank you.

Front desk was very helpful. Nice place to stay with a great breakfast. Would be helpful if cleaning staff could communicate in English. Or get someone if they don’t understand instead of just saying no habla English. I would definitely stay again.

Property was pleasant. It had a little bit of a smell in hallways. The rooms were clean and a nice area out of the way. Good staff that called me so I could check in early.

Quiet, affordable, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, soft pillows

The room (single king size bed) was small and seemed musty when we entered. The toilet seat was loose and needed to be tightened. The old air conditioning unit in the room (no central air) cycled on and off constantly, emitting a loud squeaking sound every time it went off (like a heavy squeaky door). On the positive side, the morning breakfasts were tasty and generous, and the desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Hotel is within easy walking distance of a couple nice restaurants, but the walk itself is not very interesting.

I forget his name but the man that was working the desk and checked us in Monday afternoon was FANTASTIC!!

Good location. Good desk staff, nice & clean rooms, but housekeeping was inconsistent.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was very convenient, close to the freeway and eateries within walking distance. As a mom traveling alone with my kids, I felt safe and comfortable here. Kid friendly breakfast was included as well as the indoor swimming pool.

Our bed was not made, but trash was collected. Breakfast was inferior to the Fairfield in downtown Louisville

Staff was very friendly, property was clean and very conveniently located to the activities I was doing in Louisville.

Room was clean except there was a spot of blood on one of the pillow cases. The curved bottom of the tub was very uncomfortable and unsafe for showering. Good selection at breakfast and was glad it went till 10 as we got in late the night before. Staff friendly

Hotel did not reflect the pics online. Hotel had an odor, when we showed up to check in we asked to see room before checking in. Person working the desk told us she was offended. Said she would find us a room to look at, not sure why she did not show where we would be but anyway the room she took us to, had no comforters on the bed, room had an odor and bathroom was disgusting. Requested a refund after saying we would not stay and she told us to call hotels.com. They then called the hotel and they refused.

Room was dirty, they started tearing down breakfast 20 mins before it was even time. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Overall our stay was average. Upon arrival, we were “upgraded” to a room with 2 queen beds when I reserved a king (front desk did NOT tell me about the change). We made it up to the room (on the second floor with elevator out of order) before opening the door and seeing the change. The lady at the front desk changed our room and we were put in the correct one. The one and only elevator was out of order our entire 5 day stay. Overall the room was clean, though housekeeping skipped our room the two days we would have liked them to come. The pool was generally clean but did not have towels stocked, nor were they restocked after I informed the front desk. The breakfast was very good. There was a nice variety each day. I’d recommend staying on the top floor as you could hear everything above… we unfortunately had very loud upstairs neighbors and there were kids running the halls. Not the hotels fault but noteworthy - light sleepers will struggle sleeping. The area was very convenient and quiet. It’s close to several restaurants, the interstate, and Louisville.

Not a bad place at all, but rather noisy.... all night.
