Pros:

We stay here traveling from FL to MI, have stayed before and will stay again.

Cons:

The BEST was
Pros:

Everything, I mean Everything! I didnt eat breakfast but the kitchen area looked clean. The lobby was good also. The staff was nice and helpful. I had a nice stay to bad I had other activities that kept me away from the stay. Thank you.

Overall the facility is very nice. However it was not a peaceful stay.
Pros:

The facility itself was very nice, the beds were very comfortable, the front desk staff was friendly.

Cons:

The walls are extremely thin and I heard absolutely everything. People came into the room next to me at 3am and kept me up all night long. It sounded like they were in my room. I eventually moved rooms and I still didn’t sleep well due to really loud and unpleasant noises.

Demolish BW-plus in Startanburg, SC and start from scratch! Till then, rename it to BW-minus.
Pros:

ran away without trying breakfast so cannot comment. Location is terrible.

Cons:

There is nothing to like about this particular hotel:
1) terrible location facing I-85 - windows do not block the noise from the highway. I had to wear headphones b/c the noise was overwhelming. Warning for potential customers - any odd-numbered room will face the highway: DO NOT take it!
2) they "greeted" me by saying that they did not have a room for me b/c I booked it through a third party and not on their site. I showed the reservation #. It took the receptionist ~ 30 min (during which the elevator broke) to agree to "find" me a room.
3) The elevator got fixed in a couple of hours. Meanwhile, I had to use the staircase to carry my stuff upstairs. That would be a daunting and dangerous task for a less fit person.
4) In the room, the TV remote had to be changed twice; besides, it was sticky to touch - was afraid to use it.
Overall, I do not think it was just not my lucky day - problems with the hotel look more like a systemic issue.
My family is a BW rewards member and we use Best Western when travelling. We had best vacation experiences using BW hotels in Dillsboro, NC, Orange, VA, Gettysburg, PA. I never dreamed that a BW hotel could be that poorly appointed/managed. This one gives the family of BW hotels a bad name!
