Pleasant fulfilled a need. Good clean place to stay

Very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The toilet ran, couldn’t access an outdoor patio at night not major but slight inconvenience. Soap was out in the shower and didn’t figure it out until I was in the shower. Again not major just a minor inconvenience

Pros:

People were friendly. Hotel was clean, and did not smell. Price was okay for the location. We requested a room away from noise. And we did not hear any road traffic or anyone going up and down the halls.

Cons:

There was a power outage in the area. And with this being a electronic age, you would think they would have some kind of generator. It was 85 degrees outside. Many of the the customers had to go to there cars to charge the cellphones or just to cool off. Me and my roommate included. I know it is not the hotels fault for the power outage. But we were told they also had one the night before. It was due to high usage of electricity in the area. And this is only April. How many times will it go out when it gets really hot outside?

Extraordinary kindness from staff made our stay truly unforgettable
Pros:

We stayed at the SpringHill Suites Harrisburg Hershey from March 20–22 while in town for a friend’s bat mitzvah, and I am still thinking about how kind the staff were.

The hotel itself was very clean, our room was spacious and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around the Harrisburg/Hershey area. Breakfast each morning was well organized and welcoming.

During our stay, I thought I had accidentally thrown away my glasses in the breakfast area. Two staff members, Pablo and LeeAnn, immediately stepped in to help. They went through three large bags of sticky food garbage — piece by piece — searching for them. I was incredibly moved by their willingness to do such unpleasant work for a guest they didn’t even know. (As it turned out, I later found my glasses packed in our room!)

We also loved stopping by the bar, where Mike made my son and me the best Shirley Temples we’ve ever had and served them with warmth and good humor.

Because of the exceptional care we experienced, I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. Staff like Pablo, LeeAnn, and Mike are what make a place truly stand out.

Overall a nice hotel, the lobby was nice and clean and staff was friendly. I think the rooms and pool area needs some up

Great, stopover, terrific breakfast excellent staff
