Room are nicely appointed and location is good. Some of the staff were very helpful.
Rooms are rather small, there is no restaurant/coffee shop on site functioning which is not convenient. There is a bar on top floor which is active during weekend. External guests use the same lift as hotel guests - it feels rather unsafe and uncomfortable when you are in the lift with large groups of partying strangers.
Good location close to many things to do
They originally put me in a run down room. Tv on the side of the wall, no sofa ,sitting area as in pictures and just a four large blank canvas on the wall.. nothing like the room and pictures that I paid for! They changed it after I called to front desk. But that should have been the room I was given in the first place. Give me what i reserved and paid for the first time . For $541 i expect what I paid for.
AMENITIES and LOCATION!!! You’re central to everything and have access to one of the top speakeasy’s and rooftop lounges in DC. You can party and safely return to your room!

Heel leuk concept.
Loved Bakers Daughter
You can't beat the location—it's right in the middle of everything, and the vibe of this hotel was fantastic. The room was really cute, even with a vinyl record player that we made the most of! In the evening, there were different DJs in various rooms of the hotel, and beautiful artwork everywhere. The staff were very helpful and polite when we had questions. I recommend this place to anyone looking for more than just a place to stay — an actual experience.
The bed was a bit too firm for my personal taste; I prefer a bed that you can just sink into.
I enjoyed how responsive staff was to the few needs I had. For example, I wanted to get ice for my cup at 12 am. While they didn’t have an ice maker, the front desk attendant made the effort to get me some. Additionally, it’s close to a few bus stops, a train station, and a few cafes and restaurants (it even has two connected to the hotel). Lastly, some staff are bilingual, which kinda shocked me in a good way.
My only “complaint” is the light situation in the rooms. In order to use the lights in the bathroom, you need to insert your key card in a slot close by.
This may be a more cost effective way to handle unused lights. But for me personally, I would rather a regular switch without the use of it. I called the front desk to ask about it and they gave me the skinny.
1. The location was easy to find and the neighborhood walkable. I felt comfortable in the area.
2. I loved the hardwood flors.
3. The bed is comfortable.
4. I would like to recognize Simone. Simone is warm, very personable, and professional. She deserves recognition and raise or promotion opportunities. People make the difference and are an important part of your stay.
Provide disposable hand soap as an option. I am nit picking.
Valet parking was difficult to find.

We liked staff - very helpful, great location, also design and bathroom.
Very nice lobby with kind of study / living space.
Cool having record player with vynil LP in the room
We have got King Study room - with city view which was supposed to be 32m2 - but - it was 10m2 less!!!!
My wife is an architect and measured it!
We were quite frustrated about that.
Air condition was VERY loud!
We payed for the room with the breakfast - which was nonsense - as we just got 15USD voucher to the diner in hotel - which was not enough for one meal and coffee.
