Extremely disappointing no notice re renovating to cancel booking. Then charged $30 per night per motorcycle for parking at shoppi g centre across the road disgusting. Room not made up paying premium price this should be a must. No prior notice of water being switched off during tge night. Will not stay at Novotel again. Food during stay average.

Two nights / Two motorbike’s to bad ! $120 in parking,

Paid over $500 a night, room never made up,

location to foreshore and restaurants.

Cons:

the construction going on as part of the hotel extension starts just after 7am, very noisy. The gym facilities are very average. Barely enough room to use the machines or lift weights.

Disappointed for the cost.
Pros:

Room location was facing an air conditioner. Room originally allocated wasnt ready so was offered a different room that was ready. This room faced an air-condition and a wall. It was dark and dingy. Work also began on the construction at 641AM. If I had known these things in advance I would NOT have stayed. I was also not aware that there was no onsite parking and as such had to park in meter parking. another cost that I was not advised of. These things should have been mentioned via email at the time of booking and should guests be inconvenienced a discount or bonus should be offered.

The best thing about our stay was the comfortable beds and the food in the restaurant

On arrival we had to pay more than we originally on Trivago 😞 the 1st night manager was extremely rude. And not one night that we've been there, we never got breakfast at all 😔

A noisy overnight stay

Great location positioned along the foreshore.

Cons:

Unfortunately, it was only the day before our arrival we were informed of building works and noise that may impact from 8am-5pm. This information should have been made clear at the time of booking.
While major building work needs to be done, it is an inconvenience and discounted rates for stay during these times should reflect this.
