Pros:

Comfortable room. Good breakfast and great location for beach and shopping just across the road. Helpful and friendly staff. Our preferred stay when visiting Geelong.

great place to stay in geelong, pick of the locations and staff were helpful
Pros:

Location was awesome, right on the waterfront, great shops and bars downstairs. the view from our room overlooked the bay and was stunning, there was a EV charger not too far away but i didnt have the right cable for it, excellent fish and chip shop on the bay there and a little tourist trolley running the length of the waterfront and down to the carousel and back

Cons:

the entrance can be a bit tricky to find and not much room to turn car around if its busy, theres a new tower being built but that is only during workin hours noise, free parking was on street (patrolled) but we used valet parking which cost a lil more but worth it

From check in to check out the whole experienced a lot to be desired
I booked a room that was hot and dusty and clearly hadn't not been cleaned or aired out for some time.
The air con didn't work so I was relocated.
The check in guy was passive aggressive and gave me a room that was sub standard and kept smirking the entire time during the interaction. The lady who relocated me was lovely enough but needs to listen more instead of asking questions and then providing answers to her own questions. The bed was two king singles pushed together and the bedding was a sheet on top of a doona so there was no actual doona. It was uncomfortable.
The checkout lady didn't even ask how my stay was and was more interested in asking how the mini bar was.
The restaurant downstairs is also over priced.
The only thing this hotel had going for it was the location.
I will definitely not be going back.

Can’t beat the view, could do with some tweaks.
Pros:

The view and location are fantastic. The staff we encountered were friendly. Bed was comfy.

Cons:

The shower floor and screen were quite grubby. There was so much noise from the road and an event across the road. Despite telling them twice we were celebrating a special occasion, it was barely acknowledged. The toiletries were close to empty. I respect not using single use but at least top them up regularly.
