Pros:

The rooms were nice and the area, bike hire is easy and staff are friendly.

Cons:

No staff present most of the day for reception, bar or dining. The pool is so small for the size of the resort and unheated, with no shade or ramp/handle/disability access.
Our apartment was shared with other guests next door in the same door entrance who were smoking inside their room.
Facilities such as sauna and tennis etc were broken or needed upgrades

very minor but inconvenient, The reception staff (very nice and welcoming) seemed to be filling in and could have benefited from better knowledge of the facilities and services available. For example, they were unable to advise where the laundry facilities were located or whether the items in the room were complimentary - if they were then i missed out on that ;(

Comfortable room with good view/breakfast, let down by external maintenance & lack of dinner option
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. Was hoping for room service for dinner, as per website and confirmation email, but not available.
Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Grounds pleasant and view over lake delightful.

Cons:

Outside of rooms covered in spider webs, property seemed to lack maintenance. Tennis court badly needs resurfacing.
Expecting room service and not getting it, and/or the lack of availability of any dinner was more than disappointing. We had to go shopping after a very long day. Not ideal

Beautiful room but hot water and pressure was an issue
Pros:

Quiet country road location off the highway. Just near wineries and Riesling trail.

Cons:

The hot water was only just warm at 8.30am. It had been hot the previous evening. Plus the pressure was less than normal. When reported, the reception staff member seemed disinterested and failed to acknowledge any issue.

When son get lock out to the guestroom that he left the key inside and they want to charge 50 dollar to just issue other key for him.

Pleasant surprise in Clare Valley!
Pros:

Pleasantly surprised to get better accommodation than I was expecting! Room was very well-maintained, looked contemporary, and had a very practical set-up. Daily buffet breakfast was great. Had a number of amenities available like tennis court, golf course and swimming pool.
