Breakfast
Check in I asked if i could leave my bag and the receptionist said just leave it over there ! I explained that i was not happy and was then offered to leave it behind the counter
Location is excellent, several eateries within about 10 minutes walk. Easy to get to by car from the south, not sure about from other directions. Help yourself breakfasts were good with a fairly reasonable choice.
Our ground floor room was close to hotel entrance. Late night noisy revellers outside kept us awake till well after midnight on one night.
This was at least our third yearly visit to this hotel, still no grab handles in the bath to assist showering safely, having pointed this out each visit.
Staff was pleasant and check-in easy. Room was clean and spacious enough, so was the bathroom. Wi-fi worked well. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. Access to buses and trains is easy (10 mins away).
Finding the entrance to the hotel was not obvious, maybe some better signs, but it was just a small issue.
Location good
We got an upgrade which was shocking a very dated room with stained lampshades chipped tiles in the bathroom and very dirty soap dish. There was no wi fi for our 2 night stay
Breakfast was excellent. Good range of choice - hot and cold.

bathroom was very dated ,from the 70's, sink was dirty , shower very poor, no fridge in room, room cleaning service didn't make bed or clean bathroom.

I was in room 209 and the carpet was all stained as i arrived. Defo needs thrown out and a new one put in

Breakfast should have options for elderly or very small appetites, price things separately not one price for whole breakfast, some people just like tea and toast please note.
Its location
We were in room 19 witch had a walk way and were wakend at4.30am with seagulls fighting and swauking over food containers that people were discarding at our window
Good location for the town centre
Turned out to be a very expensive stay as I received a parking fine. I was misled by a member of staff on check in, into believing that parking immediately outside the hotel in the small car park was free; it wasn’t. To be fair it was quite busy when we checked in but nevertheless when I contacted the hotel upon receipt of my fine they were initially helpful but then just ignored my communications

Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, das Frühstück mehr als ausreichend, und vielfältig.
Die Bar im Hotel sah super aus, wir haben sie aber nicht genutzt.
Staff were nice
Very tired rooms. Housekeeping woke us up in the morning by knocking the door several times then entering. Not good value for money at £117 pee night with no breakfast. Not even a biscuit with the tea facilities.
