Did not stay, not as advertised! Super disappointed!

Construction that I was not aware about! I booked a specific room for my daughter in advance, for a reason with a Jacuzzi tub. I also asked for early check-in at 1 PM. I was told I would hear back within 24 hours about the early check-in never heard back, so when we showed up at 4 o’clock to check in before the concert that started in Charlotte at six. We were told that the room that I booked was not available, they had no room rooms with Jacuzzi tubs due to the construction! But yet nobody contacted me to tell me this, and it was available on their site! Needless to say, I was not impressed, I was offered nothing for that issue!

I don't want anyone else to waste their money.
Pros:

Where shall I start this was just horrible. We booked a King w/a jetted tub in the room. The tub did not work, when we reported to front desk he acted shocked and would have it checked out. He then came to the room apologized and said all the tubs leak and had to disconnect them. He said he would only charge for a regular King room, a complimentary breakfast and a voucher for a free night and any of their hotel to use at a later date.
Wait... that is not all..... the elevators where all taped up and very slow, the pool is permanently closed, the internet wasn't working properly.
Breakfast was tasteless very simple I'm glad we did not have to pay the $14.99 a person. My BF gave the breakfast a -2.
Upon check out we were told they never give a voucher for another stay, and that Clayton knew this when he told us that, because those jetted tubs are going to all be removed. So why would the still charge full price and not disclose that at check in.

To end on a positive note the room was fairly clean, but we will not return and don't recommend this hotel at this time.

Horrible stayed . VERY NICE EMPLOYEES CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCELLENT BUT THE HOTEL IS VERY OLD.

Cons:

The area is ok distance excellent to the area where I was planned to visit. I was on the first floor terrible too noisy. I stayed 3 days Friday to Monday. Sunday early in the morning people working on construction outside the parking they blocked my car i was surrounded by barricades and caution tape . The bathroom tub and sink were clogged unacceptable. I reported the issue to the hotel they fixed but the next day the sink again clogged. The bathroom door handle broke . It was a nightmare for the money they charged per night its too.much the building is old .

Hotel was under complete renovation. Noise and chaos. Stalled vehicles no parking. Paint chipping in whirlpool tub. If we would have known the hotel was in this condition we would have never stayed there. No warning.

It was very disappointing.
Pros:

The Breakfast was okay but definitely not worth $13 a day. The room was not very clean but was definitely big (king-whirlpool). The Internet was fast and the house keeping was consistent. The coffee selection was good along with the snack area.

Cons:

The location is not the hotels fault per say but it is very far north in charlotte. The room wasn't the cleanest and the whirlpool tub had not been used in a long time so the original water that came out was green and brown from sitting in the pipes.
