Close to the conference center - but entry under a bridge with homeless and intoxicated people all around
Homeless and intoxicated people sleeping on the streets around the hotel. But also reception personnel not helpful at all: We tried to split the invoice across two cards, after several reinsurances that it worked only one card was charged - and that was not the card on file. We paid 300euros more than booking indicated - they could not explain why. It was not possible to check out early. We left one night early because of the old hotel, surroundings, and unventilated bathroom, and they could not check out us out before the next morning. Very slow service.

Parking arrangements were both confusing and expensive. Part of the convention center complex so basically a convention center environment.

Easy to get in and out, close to venue
The area is really dirty and there are people lying in the sidewalks. It smells like urine outside. The listing gave the impression there was a parking garage for the hotel. It was an adjacent public garage. The garage didn’t allow in and out for guests- so I had to pay 25 for a few hours and then another 40 when I went back in to stay the night. That’s a lot and very inconvenient. Also- the parking lot was not well lit and very scary. The hotel itself was very good and clean. Breakfast was just a regular hotel bagged eggs thing- but because there weee servers even though they just brought drinks- we had to tip- I would rather just get my own coffee as we waited on ourselves at the typical breakfast buffet as usual. The staff in there were very nice. The lobby smelled like weed the whole time. The proximity to things was very good.
Great central location, walking distance to many of the city's attractions. Lots of food options within walking distance, especially Reading Terminal Market. Included breakfast was great, with plenty of options. Room was clean and spacious. 2 TVs in the room was fun! Made it easy to watch simultaneous FiFA world cup matches :-)
Ir was a little weird that I got handwritten breakfast vouchers at check in, and had to stand there and wait for 12 voucher cards to be individually handwritten (one for each of our family of 4, for each of the 3 mornings we spent there). In this day and age, you'd think this would all be electronic, or put our room number on the list the breakfast room staff can access, etc.
It was a good location next to Reading Market and the Convention Center. It felt like a good value for what we paid considering the location.
