Don’t book direct
Pros:

On 6.3.2026 I found this hotel on booking.com for my wife. To be nice to the hotel I decided to book directly through the hotel by phone. When she arrived a few hours later to check in, they quoted her a price higher than booking.com. However, the receptionist claimed it was not possible to adjust the price. Management needs to empower their receptionists to not make guests furious over such a simple matter. They could have at least not charged for parking or some other gesture of good will. Obviously, stay somewhere where they are more flexible than Best Western or just use booking.com.

Gutes Hotel in guter Lage. (Stadtzentrum) vieles zu Fuß zu erreichen
Pros:

Personal sehr freundlich, Frühstück sehr gut.

Cons:

Die Parkplatzsituation. Schranke wird geöffnet, obwohl Parkplatz voll ist.

Die Matratzen und Kopfkissen.

Für einen Kurzurlaub ideal.
Pros:

Die Lage ist super kurze Wege zur Altstadt und Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt neben der Stadthalle Bautzen und somit am Wochenende bis 4:00 Uhr früh Event-Time. Von 4 Tagen Aufenthalt im Hotel, konnte ich 2 Tage, Freitag und Samstag, sehr schlecht einschlafen.

Das Zimmer und die Sauberkeit. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Parkplätze.

Cons:

Das Essen im Restaurant waren leider etwas kalt und die Garnelen hatten ein wenig Plastik noch dran gehabt.

Die Lage mitten in Bautzen, gut mit dem Auto erreichbar und viele Parkplätze auf dem Hof prädestinieren das Hotel für einen Kurztrip.
