Pleasant stay with helpful staff.
Pros:

The hotel was clean and staff were very attentive on the whole. Francisco for example at breakfast was especially helpful and reception provided a glass of milk at night for my daughter. The only slight downside was there was some road noise due to the location and slightly older style windows than you would find in a new build hotel.

Great for business.
Pros:

Great, central location.
Bed was as comfortable, room was a good size, shower was hot and powerful!

Cons:

Unfortunate that during my stay only 1 lift was working which wasn't ideal and the car park next to the hotel was also out of order, so had to park further away and walk.

Perfect location, reliable brand, we visit every year
Pros:

Regular visitors and always meets our expectations. Great location in the centre of town, good sized rooms compared with other nearby chains.

Cons:

Had to move rooms because of noisy air duct but accommodated no fuss by very helpful staff member. Car park changing hands so a bit neglected just now.

Pros:

Noisy found it difficult to get to sleep even though they offer free earplugs I didn't want to disturb anyone by asking for some so perhaps already have them in the room might be helpful as we'd already gone down as my son couldn't sleep so thank you to the man who made my son a late night hot chocolate to help him to sleep. Overall though my son who's 9 absolutely loved his stay and very much wants to come back! We enjoyed our food together children eat free, food is quite pricey but tastes great! Breakfast was outstanding my son was just overjoyed with how much choice there was! The lady at reception was amazing welcoming my son for his first ever hotel experience so thank you!

Fantastic staff!
Pros:

The staff make this hotel special, I stay in a lot of hotels and the staff here were outstanding. All very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Great stay and very comfy big beds!

Cons:

It’s situated on a roundabout which is a little difficult to navigate at first but fine once you work it out.

Nice hotel, bad aircon
Pros:

The hotel is nice, reception staff great and welcoming. Rooms were easy to get too. Complimentary mini was was much appreciated but we weren’t told about it so we just drank it and thought we’d have a bill after.

Cons:

The aircon, being told it’s an old building, so they are like that is not impressive. On the hottest day of the year, waking up at 2 am and 4 am to switch it back on as they switch off automatically, nothing to do with the room temp.
