Michael and his team are amazing. I loved every bit of the stay, I definitely will be back soon ! The hotel was nice and clean. Very quiet and close to things to explore
This hotel needs major updating. It's just broken down. Fridge wouldn't open without lifting the door to level out the hinges. Carpet is gross and scary - dingy and dirty. Staff was welcoming. Breakfast was fine - waffle machine is a plus. I wouldn't stay here again - Worried what else would come home with us.
Needed a calm atmosphere due to not feeling well, definitely was NOT calm as the fire alarm went off. Also the bed caved in the center and the room was freezing. Definitely do not recommend anyone stay here especially with a 20$ a day parking. Very unsatisfied
Breakfast options some no pork items would of been nice
Had a great stay at Hampton Inn Milwaukee Downtown! The Hotel Manager (Michael) went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay! The January weather was less than optimal so he provided a lot of alternatives and helpful hints to enjoy a day in Milwaukee with 40+ mph winds and sub zero temps. We love Milwaukee and will be back soon!
Just OK
False advertising about “on-site” parking. Parking was 2 blocks away in a parking garage. The Queen bed was a safety hazard that had sharp bars sticking out. I cut my leg on the bed closest to the window while trying to get to the a/c to adjust the temp.
Bed was nice
The parking having to pay. Only getting 2 towels in the room. There was no tissue in the tissue box.
Asked for refund/partial refund due to unforeseen emergency and never received a reply.

The breakfast was very good the are was clean and the staff was on it.
I feel if we are paying for a room at the hotel. We should not have to pay for parking.
Location is nice
Heating/AC didn't work!
No hot water had to take a cold shower in December!
I love the beds
The pool was down and that whole purpose of me going
If you want some good stories of horrible hotel adventures this is your place, if not heed my warning and do not stay here. I am a Hilton Honors member and always choose Hilton if I can, they have never let me down. Until last week. We chose this hotel because it was close to a marathon my daughter and her friend were going to run. When we got to our room, it was ridiculous. It was supposed to be a suite, with a living area, bathroom and then another room with two queen beds. The "suite" area was the size of a closet, the side table for the small pull out loveseat had to live in the middle of the room. You could have fit a king size bed in the weird bathroom hall however. The room was dirty as well. I did something I have NEVER done, request a new room. This is when I realized the whole hotel situation was being held together by one stellar employee who had his hands full. He seemed like he might be ready to crack...maybe it was the naked woman in the lobby wrapped only in a sheet? Or the man dressed in full Christmas garb yelling obscenities into his phone on the other side of the lobby? I saw ZERO other employees the whole time I was there. Despite being on his own, he came up to look at our room and assured us that comparatively this was a "good room we give to good people". He let us know they didn't have any other rooms with this amount of beds so we decided to tough it out. How bad could it be for one night? My daughter sat down and said, "Watch our TV won't work." I chuckled and then what do you know? She was right! Neither TV worked! And as the night wore on and we got colder and colder neither did the heat! It was so cold out that the race was canceled, so yes we were cold and had to just put on extra clothes to make it through the night. I texted the front desk about each of these issues, realizing we were stuck either way but hoping they would fix it for the next person. We were offered no compensation at any point. I then also contacted the hotel directly after arriving home through my Hilton website and no one responded so here I am with a review. It doesn't matter that the location is good, DO NOT stay here. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my day this one was the worst. I sometimes see reviews like this and still take a chance, this is your sign from the universe. Do not do it.
