Very nice location and friendly staff!
The parking isn’t included and you don’t get a discounted rate for the parking garage.
Everything was good!
I couldn’t turned the conditioner in the in bathroom area. It’s room in front of bathroom.it worked automatically and it was too cold.
The location, friendly staff
That parking in the parking ramp wasn’t included when you stayed at the property
breakfast was hot and tasty every morning. The location was convenient to the convention center and other food places. clean room and friendly staff.
The shower temperature control needs to be replaced. it was very difficult to regulate the hot and cold of the water.
Nice bed. Very clean. Food was hotel breakfast food. Very safe
Thin walls. Older hotel. Cold room, heater did not work well. No chair in my room.
The bed were so comfortable
Breakfast can be better
We stayed here for a concert at the Riverside Theater again. The service was fantastic as the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My friends and I agree this will be our go to hotel for concerts at the Riverside Theater, Pabst Theater and the Fiserv Forum. Conveniently located within walking distance to all three venues and a block from the Milwaukee River. Also conveniently located to many fine restaurants of which we dined at one.
Michael J. Dietrich, director of sales, was there to great us when we arrived and the next morning and inquired on how our stay was going. We had a great discussion as Michael was very friendly and personable. Very thankful for his help! Michael and his staff are top notch in service and hospitality.
I had a very disappointing stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Milwaukee Downtown. What was supposed to be a long-overdue sisters’ trip turned into a frustrating experience from start to finish.
We arrived shortly after 4:00 PM, well past the 3:00 PM check-in time, and were told our room was not ready and asked to wait another 15–20 minutes. This immediately put us behind schedule and caused us to rush to make our 6:00 PM dinner and theater reservations.
Once we finally received our room keys, only one of the three worked. We were told the key machine was malfunctioning and that new keys would be brought to us—but they never were.
Shortly after getting into the room, the power went out due to what appeared to be a blown fuse. A staff member came to restore it, and we also pointed out that the room was extremely cold. We were assured everything—including heat and replacement keys—would be taken care of within about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, we couldn’t wait due to our already delayed plans.
When we returned close to midnight, nothing had been resolved. The room was still freezing, no additional keys were provided, and the next shift at the front desk had no knowledge of the earlier issues. The only solution offered was to move to a different room in another part of the hotel, late at night, which was extremely inconvenient.
To make matters worse, I stayed the next morning specifically to speak with a manager (as I was told I could between 9:00–9:30 AM), only to be informed that the manager had already decided to offer 20% off—without being fully informed of everything that had happened. This lack of communication further added to the frustration.
Between the delayed check-in, broken keys, electrical issues, freezing room, lack of follow-through, poor shift communication, and inadequate resolution, this stay fell far below the standard I expect from a Hilton property.
I would not recommend this location based on this experience.
The property was nice. Great location for our event. Nice seating in the lobby area.
The staff seemed to push our issue off- we heard them tell multiple people "in five minutes.." "in 10 minutes".. and in our case.. we had 3x of asking for assistance with our issue (fan/ac not working in our room, temps ranging from 73-80 degrees).. and never fixed our problem.
Super zentral gelegen (Bus zum Flughafen 2,75 USD unweit). Sehr gute Ausstattung, sehr leise und schönes Frühstück.
How close it was to everything. The GM was so friendly and I loved how he interacted with the guests. That says a lot about a mgr.
How I wasn’t expected to pay for parking and a security deposit but it still worked out but it was still a shocker.
Good stay with helpful and nice staff; reasonable pricing for downtown and for our budget and places walkable.
Breakfast was great
Sauna was not hot
Just a cheap badly cleaned hotel. Spend your money elsewhere. Tub didn’t drain and they didn’t care to fix it after asking several times. Rooms were dirty and dated
Great location. Nice and caring staff. Comfortable rooms.
My wife and I attended a show at the Miller Theater and stayed here the night of the show. The staff were very helpful with tips on the best walking directions to the show and with great dining suggestions along the way. We had never stayed downtown Milwaukee before. Michael (the hotel mgr) gave us some great tips on restaurants and shops to check out along "the Hop" shuttle route which is just a few blocks away from the hotel. It was a very fun day!!
