Gym was a joke. Machines didn’t work and 2 sets of dumbbells.

Visited Howard Johnson Hotel with friends. Service at the Asian bar was good, but we were denied entry to the Arabic bar because one of us wore slippers. The manager couldn't show any dress code policy and became aggressive, shouting in Urdu. Security guard Thomas was rude and even pushed my friend. The security supervisor refused to share his name and couldn't control his team. We had to call the police, but chose not to escalate. All we wanted was an apology and respect. Very disappointing experience hope management addresses this seriously.

The room is very clean. Complete amenities. The staffs are very welcoming. Nice city view. Hot shower is perfectly working. We asked for late check out and they didn't hesitate to approved it. The staffs are all smiling at the front desk. We will definitely come back.
Overall fine experience with service minded staff giving free water bottles and fruit basket at arrival.
Only downside was the noisy night club. I was on 9th floor and night club on the ground floor. Had to sleep with earplugs and never have issues with a bit of noise.
This lack of service was disappointing, as I had hoped for a more welcoming experience.
There was no assistance offered for bringing my luggage to my car, even just outside the door.

************ Full of cockroaches and ZERO hygiene . I changed threeee different rooms , such a bad hotel. The manager’s response was “ get a refund if u don’t like the available rooms” so unprofessional attitude .
I have been a regular guest at Howard Johnson over the past couple of years. The staff at the front desk and the duty managers have been very helpful, friendly and courteous. There’s a senior manager, I’m told his name is Mathew, who is a cheap,extremely rude and highly uneducated person. This man is in a senior position at the Hotel and does not possess a grain of class and dignity. Many people will second my opinion spontaneously! A puny looking, cheaply dressed rude person like Mathew does not speak high of the selection of such a person in a hospitality industry! Maybe he can fit in a shanty tea stall and probably that’s where he’s from. Some food for thought for the Management!!!
The services provided was very good .Staff are vey friendly and the gust room ambiance and other facilities in the building are also very good

Warsha is so rude. She doesn’t have any communication skills . She was yelling at us. Very rude and unprofessional. How do you hire such people!!!!! Very disappointing and frustrating . She is so rude. A receptionist who is repeatedly rude to people is not a receptionist you can keep at your hotel
The location was amazing, in a nice neighborhood.
The room was really big and clean and all things needed were present. It far exceeded my expectations for the price.

quick check-in and check-out were done. I had a tour in the morning, so they were accommodating to keep my luggage safely for couple of hours with them. Staff was also friendly and helpful. We got a free upgrade to suite as well and there were no issues with the noise which was mentioned in previous comments I read.
We enjoyed our short stay there , the only issue was that the ventilation system worked only to cool off and it was freezing in the room even after we put the ventilation off and covered with the duvet .

They are racist
We entered to bar and tell them we are coming to celebrate birthday and can we wait for our friends and need 2 tables. They refused straight away without saying anything and answer if you need 2 tables but 2 big towers of beer. We just moved other side and staff start following us we stand near one table and staff make it separate so we can’t use that tables. Later when our friends came we are 7 and used only around small 1 table. When they know we are spending money then ruining behind us. There is manager on entrance with black suite no welcome no greeting nothing when he saw and white people he run behind them and give them what they want. For other nationalities they are not accommodating.

The Hotel does not have parking facilities so finding a parking after 9pm is a nightmare. The parking around the hotel area is Residential parking after 9pm and you need to get a permit to park in the common parkings on the road. Service was too slow and everytime we had to request for the daily water and coffee which was supposed to be in the room.
The Service was Bad, The Staff, The House Keeping Everything was not up too par. I mean the room they gave me was right by the elevator and the house keeping kept banging in my door with the vacuum cleaner. The towels in the bathroom were dirty!! My God The Worst.
Easy to reach from the airport with A2 bus, few minutues walk from the bus station. Downtown Abu Dhabi. Rooms are clean, have everything you need, check in and check out in couple of minutes, great value for the money. Reccomended
The security guards on 17th floor are very very rude and not professional at all. I was offended by one security guy who was so rude and impolite to me. This is the last time ever I stay in this hotel.
